Aún recuerdo cuando estaba enamorado de esta canción. Era una época llena de comienzos, sobre todo en el ámbito musical. Apenas estaba aprendiendo, no sabía ni siquiera cantar bien. Recuerdo que en esa época, le solíamos pedir películas y discos de música al vecino de mi madre, el cual es un gran sujeto muy solidario. Hubo una ocasión en la que nos presto un disco de Juanes, era de sus primeros trabajos musicales, en dicho disco habían canciones sumamente hermosas y esta que traigo hoy es una de ellas.

Cuando escuché este tema por primera vez, quedé realmente encantado por su dulzura y ternura. Como dije en el vídeo, la canción es una especie de canción de cuna dedicada un niño para que pueda conciliar el sueño de la forma más rápida y calmada. Esta canción también me recuerda a esos momentos de la niñez donde uno tiene miedo de la oscuridad o lo que haya en ella. En lo particular, le tenía mucho miedo a la oscuridad por los monstruos o fantasmas, ir solo a un lugar oscuro era pánico para mí, incluso a la hora de dormir, solía imaginar cosas bastante feas o sobre naturales que aparecían de los rincones más temidos de mi cuarto, ante eso, prefería taparme hasta la cabeza con la cobija. No dejen solos a sus hijos en la oscuridad, los pequeños sienten temor a algunas cosas, hay que estar ahí para ellos.
