El mar me da un poco de miedo. Es un lugar al cual le tengo mucho respeto, me causa incluso un poco de intriga, sin embargo, imaginarme en la inmensidad de un océano abierto con una inmensa criatura a mi lado es algo que me da un poco de pavor.

Es cierto que no conocemos mucho sobre el océano y sus misterios, lo que nos da a entender que hay mucho que no sabemos sobre nuestro mismo planeta. Las profundidades del mar son algo que oculta muchas especies inimaginables para nosotros, podrían haber seres enormes como en las películas viviendo en el mismo mundo que nosotros.

La canción "Lisa" tiene un poco de inspiración en el mar, es notable debido al hecho de que el autor menciona al océano en muchas ocasiones. Creo que el mar es uno de los principales instrumentos de inspiración en la tierra.

Yo he tenido en el pasado muchos sueños relacionados al mar. He soñado cosas como estar en un entorno de fauna marina bastante extraña. Lugares con aguas cristalinas color esmeralda, arrecifes, incluso tormentas en barcos. Tal vez mi subconsciente no le tenga demasiado miedo al mar.

A parte del mar, Lisa es una canción con mensajes humanos bastante hermosos. Aquí el autor hace referencia al aprendizaje, el dolor y el sacrificio que este conlleva. Suele ser duro aprender porque nosotros no aprendemos ni crecemos en medio de la comodidad. Para que algo nuevo nazca, lo viejo, lo ineficiente, deben ser destruidos, transformados, esto porque los procesos de evolución no son estáticos; deben generase en movimiento para que se puedan llevar a cabo, de lo contrario, una transformación no podría manifestarse.

Otra cosa muy maravillosa que aparece en esta letra es la parte que dice: "Ella es mi espejo y refleja lo que soy, suele ser duro aprender". Algunas veces, las personas que nos rodean funcionan como un reflejo de nuestros aspectos no visibles, es decir, podemos darnos cuenta de algo que no somos capaces de ver en nosotros en la actitud de una persona cercana con la cuel nos estemos relacionado. Muchas veces, lo que amamos en alguien, se trata en parte de un reflejo de nosotros mismos, y otras veces, lo que odiamos en alguien, también se trata en parte de un reflejo de nuestros mismos. No podemos darnos cuenta de muchas de nuestras actitudes, por esa razón, la vida nos ha hecho funcionar como espejos para poder observarnos y corregirnos. Las personas que nos rodean íntimamente son nuestros maestros, porque ese reflejo y ese error que repudiamos en el otro, es solo una copia de lo que yace en uno mismo, por eso, debemos aprender, de nosotros, de los demás, la vida se trata de autorealizacion; lo que no me gusta de ti, lo debí corregir en mi.
