Hive open mic week #119: Shimshai - Like flowers (cover) [Eng/ Esp]
This week's theme is simply wonderful, as wonderful as the person who chose it, our dear friend and artist @lisbeth26, who always supports us in the most charismatic, sincere and passionate way possible, I send you a hug and a greeting dear friend!
As I was saying with respect to the theme: I found it a luminous way to express many important themes at the level of empathy and relationships between us, plus it has been an intention that has generated understanding and very beautiful messages in several users that I have had the pleasure to read and listen to.
La temática de esta semana es simplemente maravillosa, tan maravillosa como la persona que la eligió, nuestra querida amiga y artista @lisbeth26, quien siempre nos apoya de la forma más carismática, sincera y apasionada posible, ¡te envío un abrazo y un saludo querida amiga!
Como decía con respecto a la temática: Me pareció una forma luminosa de expresar muchos temas importantes a nivel de empatía y relaciones entre nosotros, además de que ha sido una intención que ha generado comprensión y mensajes muy hermosos en varios usuarios que he tenido el placer de leer y escuchar.
Prejudices are the most common garbage that exists in humanity, and yes, it is garbage, and it is something that we have all fallen into at least once in our lives. But well, negative things and mistakes we all make, it's normal, the problem is when this becomes an excessive habit. To go around criticizing in a bad way people we do not really know completely, or at least we do not know very well their history or internal events, is something that even affects us in two ways: the first would be that we would become more bitter and unhappy beings, and the second is that you do not doubt that life will put you in a similar situation to that of the person you misjudged.
Many times we criticize the position of the other person for their actions, saying that our perception of what that person could be is more accurate, when in reality we do not know what are the obstacles at an internal level or traumas that the person may have. Life is not easy for anyone, we all make mistakes, and many times we give our best and, however, things do not go as we thought at first, imagine having to go through all that and still have to endure the criticism of someone who has never been in your shoes. Lately I have taken up the idea of empathy a bit, and I have realized how fundamental it is to our lives, as it is one of the virtues that make us more human.
Los prejuicios son la basura más común que existe en la humanidad, y si, es una basura, y es algo en lo que todos hemos caído al menos una vez en al vida. Pero bueno, cosas negativas y errores cometemos todos, es algo normal, el problema es cuando esto se vuelve un hábito excesivo. Andar criticando de forma mal intencionada a personas que realmente no conocemos por completo, o que al menos no conocemos muy bien de sus historia o sucesos internos, es algo que incluso nos afecta a nosotros de dos formas: la primera sería que nos volveríamos seres más amargados e infelices, y la segunda es que no dudes en que la vida va ponerte en una situación similar a la de esa persona que juzgaste mal.
Muchas veces criticamos la posición del otro por sus actos, diciendo que nuestra percepción de lo que esa persona pudiera ser es más certera, cuando en realidad no sabemos cuáles son los obstáculos a nivel interno o de traumas que pueda tener el mismo. La vida no es sencilla para nadie, todos cometemos errores, y muchas veces damos todo lo mejor de nosotros y, sin embargo, las cosas no salen como pensamos en un principio, imagínate tener que pasar por todo eso y aún así tener que soportar la crítica de alguien que nunca se ha puesto en tus zapatos. Últimamente he retomado un poco la idea de la empatía, y me he dado cuenta de lo fundamental que es para nuestras vidas, ya que es de las virtudes que nos hacen más humanos.
The song I bring today is a composition of a not very well known musician called shimshai. The original version is a reggae, but in the acoustic setting, it sounds better with this rhythm. The lyrics speak to us of a message of existence, which reminds us that we are a drop of the great ocean of the whole, therefore, we are all equal, we are all one, the damage we do to the other we only do to ourselves. In the end everything changes, everything transforms, and people live their experiences individually, it is not necessary to judge or to grieve for what they tell us. Everything happens, life comes and goes, taking us to the right place.
La canción que hoy traigo es una composición de un músico no muy conocido llamado shimshai. La versión original es un reggae, pero en el ámbito acústico, suena mejor con este ritmo. La letra nos habla de un mensaje de existencia, el cual nos recuerda que somos una gota del gran océano del todo, por lo tanto, todos somos iguales, todos somos uno, el daño que le hacemos al otro solo nos lo hacemos a nosotros mismos. Al final todo cambia, todo se transforma, y las personas viven sus experiencias de forma individual, no es necesario andar juzgando o andar afligiendose por lo que nos dicen. Todo pasa, la vida viene y va, llevándonos al lugar correcto.

Muy cierto tu mensaje con respecto a la temática de esta semana, la empatía es una palabra que muchos no conocen y menos ponen en práctica, la parte en la que dices que eso que criticamos luego podemos vernos en esa situación es totalmente cierto, ojalá pudiéramos reflexionar en ese momento y pedir perdón si es necesario porque a veces el orgullo puede ser tan perjudicial que no nos deja ver lo malo que hacemos nosotros, siempre está en los demás y esa mentalidad tan errada debe cambiar.
