Fitness: 8th January 2024 + A Did You Know Fitness Question

Good Morning

I had a really long Sunday. In the morning, I had to drop my daughter off for a competitive exam and then later pick her up, writing work, exercise, more writing work, a wedding in the evening, further more writing work, and then my daughter had some assignments to finish which went on till 4 a.m., and then I went to sleep at 5 a.m.

What does that all mean? It means I couldn’t get up for my jog or gym. Nonetheless, I planned to go ahead with my trusted dumbbells and that would make this the second day in continuation. Well, I am not unhappy so long as I do the exercises.

How did my regime look like today?

Much like yesterday, I focused on my back, shoulders, and arms. It was about fifteen minutes of high-intensity workout. I couldn’t devote more time in the morning, but through the day I intend to keep working out during breaks. So, that should be a good thing. Don’t forget, I am keeping up with my calisthenics schedule as well.

At most, I will be doing two more rounds of exercise throughout the day and I would love if I could do more. The other thing that I am happy about is that I am losing fat quite fast now, and the muscles are more prominent. Who can have a problem with that? 😊

Finally, to wind up the morning session, I did a few sessions of Ho’oponopono. Here is a write-up on Ho’oponopono for those interested to know more.

Have fun reading and practicing.

Anyway, that's it from me for now. I will see you all tomorrow.

Namaste.

Did You Know?

Okay, this is one of the unexpected records but it is interesting nonetheless. The fun part is not many of you would know about it. Did you know there is a record for going up a flight of stairs with a person on your head? Yeah, there is.

Giang Quoc Nghiep and Giang Quoc Co, both brothers, hold the record. The brother went up 100 stairs while balancing the other on his head. The record was created on 23rd December 2021. The Vietnam nationals went up 100 stairs in just 53.6 seconds.

Have a look at the video here:

The question is - can we go up 100 stairs in 53.6 seconds? Forget about the load on the head.

😊
