Fitness: 20th January 2024 + A Did You Know Fitness Question
Good Morning
So, the Marathon day has arrived. Tomorrow it will be a 21-kilometer run for me. Although I initially thought I would go for the 42-kilometer, I settled for the half marathon. I don’t think I have practiced enough for the full marathon.
Anyway, today it was a mixed feeling to go out or not for the run. It is recommended that we rest before the actual run day. However, I wanted to do at least four kilometers.
Did I do it?
Yes, I did. It was quite cool outside, so I did not want to miss the chance to run in such a great setting. I did four and a half kilometers, and I could have done more. No regrets. After tomorrow’s half marathon, I will do a longer run on Monday.
I did something more too. At home, I followed my regular calisthenics regime as much as a few sets of weights. The whole session lasted for thirty minutes. I did not want to push it too much. It was best to keep it to a minimum.
To wind up the lighter session, I did a few sessions of Ho’oponopono also. Here is my write-up on Ho’oponopono for those interested to know more.

Have fun reading and practicing.
Anyway, that's it from me for now. I will see you all tomorrow.
Namaste.

Did You Know?
Okay, this is one of the unexpected records, but it is interesting nonetheless. The fun part is not many of you would know about it. Did you know there is a record for going up a flight of stairs with a person on your head? Yeah, there is.
Giang Quoc Nghiep and Giang Quoc Co, both brothers, hold the record. The brother went up 100 stairs while balancing the other on his head. The record was created on 23rd December 2021. The Vietnam nationals went up 100 stairs in just 53.6 seconds.
Have a look at the video here:
The question is - can we go up 100 stairs in 53.6 seconds? Forget about the load on the head.
