Quintadona de Xisto village - Portugal

Hi everyone, I hope you're all well 😊 Today I went to visit Quintadona de xisto. A small village located in Penafiel. This small village has around 60 inhabitants. Quintadona is a really small village but with a lot of charm.

I live in the city of Porto and Quintadona is 30 minutes from my house. Quintadona is a village very well preserved by the inhabitants and the tourists that pass by.

Quintadona was a candidate for one of the 7 wonders of Portugal

Everyone is dazzled when they go to Quintadona. The architecture is quite unique. The houses are made of shale, slate and granite. The streets are quite narrow and almost every window has flowers.

In the 21st century, the small village began to be recovered. The inhabitants of this city never stopped believing in the potential of the village and invested a lot of money and time to recover the village.

I really thought it was amazing that the houses were all made with the same material, they were all very identical in color and I thought it was funny that even the walls and walls are made with the same material as the houses
