Porto Moniz - Madeira

Madeira was the place I most enjoyed visiting. Madeira has a lot of charm. My boyfriend and I are thinking about buying an apartment here in Madeira so we can come whenever we want

We tried all the natural pools in Porto Moniz. Porto Moniz has a lot of natural pools and they are all so beautiful, with such a blue color, so beautiful.

Not to mention the landscapes, you don't even feel like leaving that place. Only the water could be hotter

I think everyone should visit Madeira at least once in their lifetime!!!
This northern area of ​​Madeira has a lot of natural beauty. Man's intervention took advantage of and completed this beauty to make the Natural Pools of Porto Moniz a point of reference on the island of Madeira.

In 4 days of vacation in Madeira, I visited the Porto Moniz pools twice, they are really fantastic, despite the icy water, (sea water) with the amount it does on the island turns out to be quite refreshing. The water temperature was 19 degrees and the price per adult is 3€ (all day) I would repeat it without a doubt, incredible for those who like swimming pools. Take towel and snack to spend the day!

Natural salt water pools, with good access conditions. It is a pleasant place to spend a day or an afternoon, it is guarded and has support facilities, such as changing rooms and a bar. However, there is a lack of places to hang towels, especially when the tide starts to rise and the sea water also starts to almost completely invade one side of the pool.

Is it worth your visit? Yes No doubt. The water is spectacular!!! A little cold at first, but then it's really hard to get out of there. It should be noted that next to it, you will also find the unsupervised version of the natural pools of Porto Moniz. Access is easy and there's nothing to deceive, as parking in the surrounding areas is practically all paid.

At the end of the day, we went to take a shower in the apartment we rented and had dinner at a restaurant right below the apartment. It's a Brazilian restaurant. I love Brazilian food. The restaurant is called Espettus

We ate a carvery, everything was very good.

In the end we paid 42.55 for 2 people. For what we ate, I didn't find anything expensive.

At the end of dinner we went for a walk and I had an ice cream 😃
