Porto City - Portugal

(Edited)

Hello everyone, I hope you're all well, yesterday I visited the crystal palace in Porto and I'm going to show you a little and talk a little about this wonderful city 😊

The crystal palace is wonderful. It's a huge garden where they have chickens, peacocks and ducks on the loose. Animals are super used to people and therefore walk around people without any problems.

Peacocks wear their beautiful blue and green feathers and some also have black feathers during the breeding season to advertise their physical and sexual condition.

When the peacock opens its feathered fan, it looks for a peahen to court, and it is for this purpose that the males use their bright colors. The peahen, as with the females of almost all birds, is more discreet. Although it is also of great beauty, its less vivid colors serve as camouflage to protect the nest, or the chicks, from predators.

The crystal palace is invaded by tourists at this time of year, I advise everyone to visit this beautiful garden ❤️

They also have a pond full of water lilies. The lake is so beautiful 😊

In this beautiful garden you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Douro River

They also have plenty of fountains if people want to drink water.

It also has some beautiful palm trees, where everyone stops to take pictures.

This garden that I'm going to show you below is the garden of feelings.
It has a labyrinth design, with some lakes; plant species related to a feeling like pain, love, jealousy...

There are also some bicycles that people can rent to use only in the Crystal Palace. The crystal palace is huge and you really have to take a day to see it all. I went to a concert inside the crystal palace and I took the opportunity to go there early in the morning to see what was there, and I really loved it ❤️

There is also a small viewpoint for people to go up and see the Douro river. Anyone who comes to Porto really has to come here. Whoever comes to the city of Porto is a mandatory stop

There are lots of parks, I don't know the name of some because they are really huge and all so beautiful

And in all the gardens there are animals

Of course all animals have identification so people don't take them

It has lots of trails. My family and I walked a lot yesterday

We found a kind of grotto, it was so beautiful

I saw a lot of people doing photo shoots, it's one of the most beautiful parks I've ever seen, and I'm not exaggerating

Then my family and I left the crystal palace and went for lunch because the prices there were super high, we walked for about 15 minutes and found a super cheap place, and we saw on the internet that it had a good rating.
The lady gave us a kind of command that when the food was ready it would ring

I ordered a chicken sandwich with bacon sauce and super delicious potatoes

My brother and I paid only 12.90 for two menus that include a sandwich, juice and potatoes. My parents went to eat at another restaurant next door because they didn't want sandwiches

On my way here I took a picture of this train because I love trains 😊

Then we went back to the crystal palace where I was going to have a concert at 9:30 pm by a band that made my childhood very happy

As I arrived an hour early I decided to take some pictures and then sit on a bench

I went to see the D'zirts with my brother. I bought the tickets and gave them to my brother as a gift. They were part of my childhood and that of my brother. We were really looking forward to the concert. Tickets were €25 each

When the hour started to approach we went to the queue and it was already huge

We entered around 9 pm, we sat on the benches and people were coming in little by little.

D'zirt is a Portuguese band where they met in a Portuguese series called Morangos Com Açúcar. The series took place when I was only 14 years old and shortly afterwards one of the members of the band passed away when they were having a lot of success. They decided to break up the band and after 10 years they decided to come back and the Portuguese people my age got bored and sold out 14 concerts in one day.

It was a very emotional concert, where they paid tribute to Angélico who passed away. They put a holiogram of him, which looked like she was really there, where all the people who were at a concert sang one of his songs and everyone got emotional. It was beautiful

Also sing a new song they made for him ❤️

Then they sang vibrant songs where we could relive our childhood

And I end with the title of a song by them, ALL I WANT IS TO GO BACK
I really want to live this experience again ❤️

I hope you liked it, see you soon friends 😊
