Gryllus assimilis is a very familiar insect to all of us. This insect is a bit thick in size. They nest underground. They come out at night. They are eaten by various birds, so they keep themselves hidden to survive. But at night, when they see the light of the current, they come out into the open. At this moment, all the birds return to their respective homes at night. So the outside environment becomes acceptable for them at night.
