Portraits of participants in freestyle battles [Eng/Esp]

Greetings, dear friends of the community, I hope you are feeling great today. After finally editing the pictures of the last freestyle event I attended, I decided it was a good time to share with you some of these pictures. This time I focused a lot on the portraits, although in the previous photographs of this style there were movements in the photos by the actions of the participants, here I wanted to focus fully on capturing a good portrait of each one, thus giving something more calm, but also retains the essence of the moment, so I hope you like it.

Saludo, queridos amigos de la comunidad, espero que se encuentren genial el día de hoy. Luego de por fin editar las fotografías del último evento de freestyle al que asistí, decidí que era un buen momento para compartirles algunas de estas fotografías. En esta ocasión me centré mucho en los retratos, si bien en las anteriores fotografías de este estilo había movimientos en las fotografías por las acciones de los participantes, aquí quise centrarme plenamente en captar un buen retrato de cada uno, dando así algo más tranquilo, pero que también conserve la esencia del momento, por lo que espero que les guste.

I have already said on other occasions how complicated it can be to try to photograph these moments and although the constant movement of the participants can be a challenge, this time I tried to take it in a calmer way and capture these moments of relaxation, I understand that the interesting thing is in the execution of the moment, but I also found it interesting to portray this more relaxed aspect, somehow more concentrated and also to see them enjoying the battles, because although the event can be seen as a sport, it is still something that at the same time is fun for many.

Ya he dicho en otras ocasiones lo complicado que puede llegar a ser el intentar fotografiar estos momentos y si bien el constante movimiento de los participantes puede llegar a ser un reto, en esta ocasión intenté tomarlo de una manera más tranquila y captar estos momentos de relajo, entiendo que lo interesante está en la ejecución del momento, pero también me pareció interesante retratar este aspecto más relajado, de cierta manera más concentrados y también verlos disfrutar de las batallas, porque si bien se puede ver el evento como un deporte, no deja de ser algo que al mismo tiempo divierte a muchos.

For these portraits the editing style was relatively simple, although I tried to focus the attention on the protagonists covering most of the photos, I also wanted to show some striking colors, not distracting or saturating, but ones that make the participants shine. When I edit I usually have a very marked style of brown or golden tones, those who follow my photographs know what I mean, but for these I allowed myself the freedom to look for different colors according to the protagonists, of course maintaining a similar style between the photographs to create a good harmony.

Para estos retratos el estilo de edición fue relativamente sencillo, si bien intenté centrar la atención en los protagonistas abarcando la mayoría de las fotos, quise también mostrar unos colores un tanto llamativos, no que distraigan o que saturen, sino unos que hagan brillar a los participantes. Cuando edito suelo tener un estilo muy marcado de tonos marrones o dorados, aquellos que siguen mis fotografías saben de qué hablo, pero para estas me permití la libertad de buscar distintos colores según los protagonistas, por supuesto manteniendo un estilo similar entre las fotografías para crear una buena armonía.
