Portraits at Freestyle event: Qazar [Eng/Esp]

A week ago I attended a Freestyle event called "La rotonda" and the truth is that I had some time without doing it, I went with intentions to enjoy the battles, share with those I know and also to take some pictures in the process. I like to edit this kind of pictures taking it to black and white, because in many occasions I think that seeing so many things that can distract, it is best to try to focus the view that way, but this time I wanted to do something different and decided to select several pictures to edit them exclusively in color and will be the ones I'll be showing you.

Hace una semana asistí a un evento de Freestyle llamado “La rotonda” y la verdad es que tenía cierto tiempo sin hacerlo, fui con intenciones de disfrutar de las batallas, compartir con aquellos que conozco y también para hacer algunas fotografías en el proceso. Este tipo de fotografías me gusta editarlo llevándolo a blanco y negro, porque en muchas ocasiones me parece que al ver tantas cosas que pueden distraer, lo mejor es intentar centrar la vista de esa manera, pero en esta ocasión quise hacer algo distinto y decidí seleccionar varias fotografías para editarlas exclusivamente a color y serán las que les estaré mostrando.

I'll be honest, when I attend this kind of events to take pictures I have to take many, because being a time when the participants are constantly moving is a bit complicated to make a good focus or try to freeze the movement as best as possible and often the natural light is not enough to allow me to raise the shutter speed, so I try to manage the way I can and doing many is the way I get very good pictures, some with movements perhaps not in the best way, but that ultimately I end up liking.

Les seré honesto, cuando asisto a este tipo de eventos para hacer fotografías debo hacer muchas, porque al ser un momento en que los participantes están moviéndose constantemente resulta un poco complicado el hacer un buen enfoque o intentar congelar el movimiento lo mejor posible y en muchas ocasiones la luz natural no es suficiente para permitirme subir la velocidad de obturación, por lo que intento apañarme de la manera que pueda y haciendo muchas es la forma en que consigo obtener muy buenas fotografías, algunas con movimientos quizás no de la mejor forma, pero que a fin de cuentas me terminan gustando.

In this opportunity, I took many pictures of Qazar (the protagonist of these photographs) because although he is very concentrated in his moment of participation, he is also one of the most concentrated and stays in the same position for several seconds, which allows me to make several captures that I think are very good, so I decided it would be good to start publishing with his photographs, soon I will be sharing more pictures of other participants and perhaps one more of Qazar, because I really took a lot of pictures of him.

En esta oportunidad, le hice muchas fotografías a Qazar (el protagonista de estas fotografías) ya que aunque se mantiene muy concentrado en su momento de participar, también es de los que más se concentra y se mantiene en una misma posición por varios segundos, lo que me permite hacer varias capturas que considero quedan muy bien, por eso decidí que sería bueno empezar a publicar con sus fotografías, pronto les estaré compartiendo más fotografías de otros participantes y quizás alguna otra más de Qazar, porque de verdad que le hice un montón de fotos.
