Photographing an old camera [Eng/Esp]

A couple of weeks ago I wanted to take some different pictures in order to use them for a project where I would combine photography with song lyrics and in that process I remembered that I had an old camera that could help me for a photograph I had in mind, so after looking for it, seeing it and knowing that it would work for what I needed, I decided to do a whole session with the camera and today I want to share with you some pictures that were some of my favorites, so I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them and editing them.

Hace un par de semanas quería hacer unas fotografías distintas con la finalidad de usarlas para un proyecto donde combinaría la fotografía con letras de canciones y en ese proceso recordé que tenía una cámara vieja que podría ayudarme para una fotografía que tenía en mente, por lo que luego de buscarla, verla y saber que sí funcionaría para lo que necesitaba, me dispuse a hacer toda una sesión a la cámara y el día de hoy quiero compartirles algunas fotografías que fueron de mis favoritas, por lo que espero que las disfruten tanto como yo el haberlas lecho y editado.

While I was taking these pictures I had a thought and it is the great importance of photographs in our lives, because time passes very quickly and in most cases what remains are the memories, memories immortalized by a camera and luckily it is much easier to have a phone, because you can take a lot of pictures with which to immortalize many moments that want to be remembered over time and this seemed incredible to me, knowing that I spend a lot of time taking pictures and somehow freeze moments for the future.

Mientras hacía estas fotografías tenía un pensamiento y es la gran importancia de las fotografías en nuestras vidas, ya que el tiempo pasa muy rápido y en la mayoría de ocasiones lo que más quedan son los recuerdos, recuerdos inmortalizados por una cámara y por suerte es mucho más sencillo al tener un teléfono, ya que puedes hacer una gran cantidad de fotografías con las cuales inmortalizar muchos momentos que quieran ser recordados con el paso del tiempo y esto me pareció increíble, saber que paso mucho tiempo haciendo fotografías y que de alguna manera congelo momentos para un futuro.

Taking into account that these photographs were towards an old camera, I thought that the most appropriate thing was that the development of the photographs had the same aesthetics, so I tried to give a look to the older photographs, where the colors were more vintage to call it somehow. Obviously, I tried to highlight certain details of the camera, integrate a little more the shadows and give a darker touch in certain areas so that certain areas were the ones that had the center of attention, honestly it was quite fun because there are few occasions when I work with this style for my photos, but I'm interested in doing it more often.

Teniendo en cuenta que estas fotografías eran hacia una cámara vieja, me parecía que lo más adecuado era que el revelado de las fotografías tuviese esa misma estética, por lo cual intenté dar un aspecto a las fotografías más antiguas, donde los colores eran más vintage por llamarle de alguna manera. Evidentemente, intenté destacar ciertos detalles de la cámara, integrar un poco más las sombras y darle un toque más oscuro en ciertas zonas para que ciertas zonas fueran las que tuviesen el centro de atención, honestamente fue bastante divertido porque son pocas las ocasiones en que trabajo con este estilo para mis fotos, pero estoy interesado en hacerlo más seguido.
