Monomad: Taking pictures in a square - Street photography #39 [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

A few days ago I told you that I was visiting a town with some colonial houses and in the process I sat in a square to rest, in this place I also took some pictures of the people, the place and everything that was calling my attention at that moment.

Hace algunos días les comenté que me encontraba visitando un pueblo con unas casas coloniales y en el proceso me senté en una plaza a descansar, en este lugar aproveché para hacer algunas fotografías también de las personas, el lugar y todo aquello que estuviese llamando mí atención en ese momento.

There are monuments that usually attract my attention, perhaps because I don't know much about the history of the places I visit, so when I have the opportunity to photograph a statue of a famous person of the place I do it and also with the plaques, I think they always tell something interesting and simple about the place.

Hay monumentos que suelen llamar mí atención, quizás por el hecho de que desconozco mucho de la historia de los sitios a los que visito, por eso cuando tengo la oportunidad de fotografiar ya sea una estatua de alguna persona famosa del lugar lo hago y también con las placas, me parece que siempre cuentan algo interesante y sencillo del sitio.

What I like most about street photography is the spontaneity of the moments, plus you never know what you might find in the pictures you take, because, even if you are focusing your attention on a specific point there are many other things happening that you can realize after taking the picture.

Lo que más me gusta de la fotografía callejera es lo espontaneo de los momentos, además que nunca sabes qué te puedes encontrar en las fotografías que realices, porque, aunque estés centrando tu atención en un punto especifico hay muchas otras cosas sucediendo de las que te puedes percatar luego de tomar la fotografía.
