These last 2 days have been so extremely sad. One of my dear friend had Cancer 3 years back and was treated completely for it. 2 weeks back she developed some infection and was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition and within a week after that her condition deteriorated completely. It went down very badly and then the Doctor diagnosed that the cancer had relapsed and spread all over in her body. Since the last 2 days have organs have also started failing and now the Dr. says there is no hope to survive and we have to be ready for any moment that she would pass away.

She is only 48 and such a vibrant lady, full of life. Always lived her life to the fullest on her own terms. She enjoyed partying dancing travelling and always dressed up like a doll. I cannot even believe that in the next few days she will not be with us. All of this happened just in a span of 2 weeks and there as been no time of reaction also. Life is so unpredictable and what all karma we come with. So much pain to endure. Her family is devastated and now it's like waiting and watching that any moment she will give up.

The last I met her was in November when I was in Mumbai, at one of our friend's birthday we were all together and me and her had a good chemistry, we would always find our space to have some soulful conversations. In January on my birthday she could not come because she was down with viral infection that time, and I felt very sad at that time that she could not make it.

Right now I just wish that some miracle happens and she gets out of the bed hail and hearty. Some miracle to reverse her condition. End of this year we were planning to do a girls trip to Sri Lanka.

Life is really unpredictable, we do not know what is coming to us in life. We make so many plans for our future and think like we have never ending time, but for each one of us there is limited time and every moment of life counts. In our ladies group we were sharing our emotions of this circumstances and I was telling my girl gang how important it is to take care of our physical and mental health. From my ladies gang quite a few of them have some or the other health condition. And they were telling me that why was I not emphasizing on this in our 30s and 40s. The fact is that I always used to but barely anyone had my attention.

When things are going good in our life we do not pay attention to these things, we are on our own trip of life. Right now also when I keep talking about physical fitness care to the younger generation in our circle, I see that they get bored with my talks and try to change the topic.

As of now all we can do is just pray for my friend and god give strength to her family :-(
