๐๐ฝ๐ปSublime Sunday๐๐ฝ๐ by @c0ff33a - Growing Herbs in my Garden
I want to grow a lot of herbs in my garden and to start with a few days back I planted 3 herbs in my garden. One is Curry Leaves; another Lemon grass and the third one is Blue Ginger. These are some of the herbs which are regularly used in my kitchen and not only that it has some amazing medicinal properties.
The curry leaves and lemon grass are common herbs and even the ginger is a very common herb but blue ginger is not very easily available. One of my friend has grown it in her garden and she was kind enough to lend me a plant. Blue ginger is said to have some amazing medicinal properties it is a very rich source of iron, sodium and vitamins A and C. Research shows that it has very good anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Anyways I wanted to have a ginger plant in my garden so I thought why not blue ginger if I can get and then luckily I got it from my friend.
Curry leaves is something that is used in almost every dish we prepare and another rich source of vitamin A and C. Curry leaves are also good for heart health. Then there is lemon grass, which is mainly used in Teas and curries. Now all of these 3 herbs I use regularly in preparing my herbal tea, so for me these are of daily use then why not have them growing the garden itself.
This is my blue ginger plant
The lemon grass plants, they grow and spread very fast.
The curry leaves, this one is a small plant, but again this will also grow fast.
In this week I plan to get some more plants, let me see what I can get which will be useful for me.

Good to know that you also love planting herbs. They are truly beneficial to the health.
Huhhh I had no idea that a curry leave plant looked like that. The climate seems favorable by you guys for growing stuff, that seems cool for how fast it will go!
And did you get the lemongrass from seeds or how did you start it, would love to have this one growing here as well

The thought of growing your herbs in your garden is a lovely one, at least you're sure of where it is coming from.
