It's all getting quiet. People have got back to work after the holidays and the normal routines are back in place. By early December the whole atmosphere changes and it's all high energy, and soon after the New Year this energy starts going doing. That's the law of nature right? What goes up does come down at some point of time. When it all begins the excitement is at a different level, the vibes are joyful and when it gets over, there are good feelings but there is some level of exhaustion also. Even when we go on a holiday we feel great when we are planning the holiday and no matter however hectic the journey is but we still have loads of energy to do it, but when it gets over then we feel the exhaustion and we want to rest for a long time.

In December we all set up of Trees and the house decors for the festive season, but as it gets over then to remove all of it feels tedious. Normally I would remove all my decors after 10 days of New Year, but this time I planned it earlier and did it today itself since it's a holiday for me. Honestly I was feeling very lazy to do it but then morning when I woke up I firmed myself that I will complete the removing of the Tree and the clean up today itself. It was an hour work and I managed to complete it early morning. The silly part was after removing everything, packing it up and putting boxes in their place, I noticed that I had missed out somethings and I had to remove all the boxes again. Pheeww, that was tedious, but I decided to complete it once and for all. Because if I would leave it for later then it would keep lying out for a long time.

All the ornaments are removed from the Tree, it does not look good to see the Tree without ornaments.

Everything goes back into the box, until the next year. I love how my box keeps getting filled up year on year. Every year I add some new ornaments to my Tree.

Though the holiday season is over, but for me this month of January still continues with celebrations as my and hubby's bday fall in this month. We have a big friend circle here in Muscat and it's difficult to invite everyone home at one go, so in this month we will be doing couple of celebrations with our friends and that will again keep me occupied with the arrangements to be done. It's going to be a hectic month since there are couple of things to be done lined up and I need to focus on all of them.

As for the rest of the day I am going to be occupied with some home cleaning things and then today is also the first Full Moon of the year, so evening I would like to spend some time in Meditation in the Full Moon. I enjoy these energies and it gets me charged up. I look forward to weekends but when they arrive it just feels like they fly so fast and then again the weekly routines.
