Blink, blink...Q1 is already over. Is the time really galloping or is it just that I am feeling like this. The month of March has been quite an eventful one for me. It was all about travels and committing to domestic duties. Had some celebrations with friends back home and also a lot of time spent on my new home in the making. It's such a hectic task, doing everything right from the scratch, never imagined it would get so tedious. There is so much to look at, right now I am planning the electricals and the plumbing part of the home, it needs so much of detailing, one miss and it can create a problem later. To make the project cost friendly we have decided to buy all the material by ourself and only take the labor help and pay accordingly. If we would leave the whole project on them, it would be comparatively expensive as they do have their commissions in all the material that they buy.

Doing it by self is tedious but personally I feel it is very fulfilling, keeps me so much connected with the home and will save on money too. It's worth the effort. When it will be ready the feeling will be so good of doing every single thing by self in the home. I am taking help of some friends who are experts in the different areas of the project and that's been a good help for me to move forward.

Every day we have a new challenge and expenses are like pouring from everywhere. But whatever it is, I feel every single minute spent on the task is all worth it. At the end of it, the result is going to be beautiful and that's going to be my dream home. Back home this month I was also able to attend my Son's seminar which was about creating Crypto awareness and gaining financial freedom. And then there were Holi celebrations also which I had a wonderful time with my friends and I celebrated Holi after 3 years so there was high level of excitement. The first quarter of this year has been majorly focused on my home. I also had back-to-back guests and honestly, I need a complete break for a couple of months now and not have anyone more coming over.

As far as my Hive Goals are concerned, they have been going steadily and I am satisfied with my performance. I have been able to keep up with my work irrespective of the heavy schedules. No new investments I have made in this month. Just keeping steady with all my existing ones.

In this month of April, I will be having a week long Ramadan holidays and we are planning a short vacation somewhere in Oman itself. Have to still plan on it, but it's going to be fun exploring a new place and I am looking forward to it.
