Candle Making session

We had a Candle making session some time back in our Women's group. I was excited when I got to know that there is a session being held by one of the ladies who is expert in making candles. I too make them, but my jar candles finishing is not coming up very well. I wanted to learn on how to make that better, so this was a good session for me to attend.

It was a very well organized session. When I reached there I saw that there were individual kits for each member, this was good because we could all do it by ourselves and just not watch one person doing the demo and others only watching it. When I opened my box I found that there were not only candle making ingredients but also some goodies, which was a very sweet gesture from the lady who had organized it, and it was all for free. She wanted to do promotion of her brand and that's why she had organized this session. All her products are of high quality so I know that this little box also had a good cost.

To melt the wax there was a microwave arrangement made

And without wasting any time we started with the session, she was doing it individually with everyone so it was supposed to be time consuming.
The wax was melted and poured in a paper cup, all the other ingredients were then added to it like the fragrance oil and the color.

We were all doing it by ourselves as per the instructions, we could use whichever colors we wanted. I dusted my jar with some golden color and yellow color I put in the liquid.

Then setting up the wick in the jar and poured the liquid

Here it is now done and allowing it to set. This one is mine.

My Candle is ready. I should have put some more yellow color because when it cooled down the yellow was not very strong and it came out more like a cream color.

I did learn a lot of tips from her. She taught us lot of creative ways to decor the candle, specially playing with the colors. The other important thing I learned was, when I do it at home it gets very messy, she got it done everything very neatly by using different tools, which I liked and I am going to implement all of these new ways going forward.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

The candle-making session seems so fun. You can create a lot of designs and even make a scented one. Nice one @nainaztengra. 🫶

Thank you. It's going to take some time for me to start making it, since right now the schedule is tight, but hopefully soon
