Last evening I was at the Corniche and it was a surprise for me, the whole place had changed into a mini carnival. Last week when I had visited there was nothing here and then suddenly so much is there. The month of Ramadan is going on and in a few days' time it will be the festival of Eid, so I guess all this is to gear up for the festival. It was nice vibe, the place looked colorful and vibrant.

There were games for children, and lot of variety of food and entertainment activities for all age groups. Everything was good here, except for one thing which I did not like, but then may be its public demand so they have kept it. They had video game screens for children. In an outdoor place where children are meant to play physical games with their friends, this is kind of a spoiler. At home also they are hooked on to screens and here also, so then what's the point of an outdoor activity for them. Anyways, I guess everyone has their own choice.

This play area is good for children, they could do some activities here.

This is always the fun area for children, maximum children are found here.

They had a mini zoo set up, I had a peak from out, there were mostly birds and small reptiles that were there.

There were some clothes and accessories shops also

The name of this coffee shop is very interesting, orphic means mysterious. Loose coffee powder was being sold in small cups and they also were serving hot and cold coffee.

Time to gamble :-)

This is where we took a break to relish on some yummy food. These guys are from Tanzania, and he kept shouting Tanzania meat but the way he was saying, I was here it as Lasagna meat, I was wondering what does this dish mean and asked him, because the way he was preparing it was just a normal grill, I thought it must be some different sauce, but then he laughed and told me it's Tanzania and not Lasagna, I was feeling very silly :-) I wanted to have the corn, but he was taking forever to prepare it and finally I just let it go. We had the meat and then moved forward.

Another feast for us, India chat. Hubby loves it, so we had one of this also.

These are all different types of drinks, hot and cold. Very fancy

This is the most tempting, but then I stopped myself, my friends did have it. I find it criminal.
