A Lazy Day
After a week, finally yesterday, I took a complete break from all the work. It was a day of relaxation and being at home. Late evening then I caught up with my girl gang and spent time with them. It has been a very hectic week and morning when I woke up, I was feeling a little under the weather so I decided to go slow and not land up in any mess, as it is so much is there still to do that, I cannot afford to be sick in this time. Thankfully after the full day rest and doing some of my herbal therapies, by evening I was feeling better, else I was thinking to call off the evening plans as well.
Sometimes we try to do more than our capacity and our body is intelligent enough to put us on a break by giving signals. For me it happens many times when I am on short visits. Time is less and there is so much to do that I end up over exerting myself and last few days have been non-stop travelling back-to-back and all long-distance day journeys which left me exhausted. Morning when I woke up it was raining heavily and that also changed the mood for the day. I wanted to be home enjoying the weather and my home vibes.
Later in the evening I was feeling better and energized and felt that was enough of rest so as per the plan I met my friends and went out for a dinner with them to this newly opened restaurant in town called Kyma. The place was suggested by a friend, she had very good reviews, so with my girl gang we decided to try it out. They had a mix of Mediterranean and Asian cuisine and we decided to go ahead with Asian cuisine. The food was very delicious, we were so engrossed in our talks that I missed clicking pictures. In the end then I clicked some pictures of the restaurant.
Some pictures of Kyma
The ambiance and the meals both were awesome and we ended up having loads of fun with lots of gossiping and dancing. By the time we finished it got very late around 1 a.m. and guess what we were stuck up in a traffic jam at 1 a.m. That's what I always say Mumbai city never sleeps. This is what the road looked like at 1 a.m. This is a regular thing over the weekends. There are cops all throughout the roads doing checking for drink and drive cases and hence these jams happen because the traffic gets slow.
It was just a 15 minutes road but it took us more than half an hour and by the time we reached home it was 1.45 a.m. and then all I had to do was crash in my bed. Today morning hubby also arrived from Muscat and I am feeling good to be back with him. I do miss him when he is not around. All of us together, it's going to be a nice family time.
Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸
Relaxation is a good way to refuel the energy that is getting exhausted.
Cheers
Thank you
I think it's good to have the body keep us in check if we go overboard and exert ourselves more than our capabilities. I often ponder about the less time we have and the more things that need doing. For me, fitting the latter(more things) into the former(less time) is becoming almost impossible.
Great that you felt much better before the end of the day and we're out in the night having fun :)
And one thing I also feel that I need to understand that I am no more in my 20s and 30s and energy levels do change with age.
What a nice restaurant and the pictures are lovely. It good to keep our body up and it good you feel more better before the end ot the day to hang out with friends I love that.
The time with friends was a wonderful closure of the day
🥰🥰
You are indeed having a good time. That is very obvious
It is good that you always create time to enjoy with your female friends
Kudos!
I believe it is important to spend time with the clan that you enjoy with
I'm Always looking forward to those little outings with my girls. Eating, having fun, gossiping....I think that has got to be there no matter what. Hehe
Glad you had fun and that your husband has come over. Looking forward to more of your adventures 🌺
That's true, that should never take a back seat, it is very important because these are the things that adds a spark to the life
oh yeah.... how often we try to do more than we should...
if we don't stop, then body makes us stop with a disease. it's better to listen to it.
A nice place for an evening visit! and so busy road...I never imagines my small city would have such roads with hundreds of cars. Now I see it evry day...
Mumbai is a crazy city, there is traffic all the time on the roads and honking and chaos, sometimes it gets frustrating, specially during rains, because then you are stuck up.
Whenever the body feels tired then we should give some rest to our body. That we keep working all day. We should also exercise our body. Some of our tiredness also reduces. beautiful description of the day very nice
That's true, thank you
