Hoy quiero participar en el Thoughtful Thursday Prompt #37 de la semana propuesto por @thoughtfulposts dónde nos invita a hablar acerca de la tecnología y todas esos avances en los últimos tiempos que han venido para hacer más fácil nuestra vida si lo vemos de esa forma.
Hello friends of the Thoughtful Daily Post community, I hope you are well today 👨🏼💻. Today I want to participate in the Thoughtful Thursday Prompt #37 of the week proposed by @thoughtfulposts where he invites us to talk about technology and all those advances in recent times that have come to make our lives easier if we look at it that way.
Cada día se descubre o se crea una nueva tecnología. Todo para hacernos la vida más fácil y mejor. Tengo curiosidad por saber qué hacíais antes de disponer de estas maravillas tecnológicas. ¿Se arrepienten de haberlos utilizado?
Every day there is some new technology being discovered, or created. All in the name of making our lives better, and easier! I am curious what you all did before you had these means of technological marvels. Do you regret ever using them?
Hoy en día hay una actualización de la tecnología de una manera tan rápida que la podemos ver en el día a día, en nuestro trabajo o estudios e incluso en cosas tan simples cómo objetos que nos hacen más fácil el poder comunicarnos con otros estando cerca o a distancia: como los teléfonos celulares. Creo que los teléfonos fueron después del internet uno de los mejores y a la vez más dañinos objetos de tecnología que existe.
Nowadays there is an update of technology in such a fast way that we can see it in our daily life, in our work or studies and even in things as simple as objects that make it easier for us to communicate with others being close or at a distance: such as cell phones. I think phones were after the internet one of the best and at the same time most harmful objects of technology that exist.
Los teléfonos nos permitieron acercarnos de una forma en la que no podíamos si tenemos familia en otros países o incluso en el mismo país pero en diferentes ciudades. Recuerdo que cuando era pequeña tuve un teléfono y eran un Nokia que lo usaba para hablar con mi papá que vive bastante lejos de mi ciudad y con familiares, era bastante emocionante poder hablar durante mucho tiempo con mi papá a través de una llamada cuando no lo podía tener cerca pero eso no me dió el calor que da una verdadera cercanía y un abrazo en persona.
Phones allowed us to get closer in a way that we could not if we have family in other countries or even in the same country but in different cities. I remember when I was little I had a phone and they were a Nokia that I used to talk to my dad who lives quite far from my city and with relatives, it was quite exciting to be able to talk for a long time with my dad through a call when I could not have him close but that did not give me the warmth that gives a real closeness and a hug in person.
El teléfono hoy en día se puede usar para tantas cosas, en mi caso lo uso para comunicarme y para escribir los post de Hive, es casi indispensable para mí ya que me permite poder crear contenido y trato siempre de cuidarlo, pero algunas personas realmente se vuelven exclavos de la tecnología y muchos jóvenes que hoy en día no reciben la atención de sus padres o familiares se ocultan a través de una pantalla para conectar con otros y tratar de tener ese calor que falta en el hogar.
The phone today can be used for so many things, in my case I use it to communicate and to write Hive posts, it is almost indispensable for me as it allows me to create content and I always try to take care of it, but some people really become slaves of technology and many young people who today do not receive the attention of their parents or family members hide through a screen to connect with others and try to have that warmth that is missing at home.
Por esa razón pienso que los teléfonos deberían ser usados después de los quince años ya que un niño está sumamente expuesto a tantas cosas y gente maliciosa que puede hacerles daños, se ven muchos casos de bullying y de acoso a través de las redes sociales que son otro avance que se supone es para comunicarnos pero siempre hay personas que no lo utilizan con buena intención. Sonará muy retrograda pero no me parece que se le de un teléfono o una tablet a un niño, no es saludable y pierden tiempo en cosas que no son productivas y que podrían usar para aprender un hobby o un pasatiempo.
For that reason I think that phones should be used after the age of fifteen because a child is extremely exposed to so many things and malicious people who can harm them, we see many cases of bullying and harassment through social networks that are another advance that is supposed to communicate but there are always people who do not use it with good intentions. It will sound very retrograde but it does not seem to me to give a phone or a tablet to a child, it is not healthy and they waste time on things that are not productive and that they could use to learn a hobby or a pastime.
Siento que deberían haber más restricciones en cuanto a la edad en la que les permitan a los más jóvenes el uso de la tecnología, porque hay muchas personas ociosas que no siempre desean el bien para los demás. Debemos estar más presentes en la vida de nuestros pequeños y de nuestra familia, los momentos que pasamos juntos es lo único que nos queda hasta que llegue el final de nuestra vida. Agradezco que nací en un tiempo donde aún la tecnología no estaba tan presente y pude compartir con mis seres queridos y tener recuerdos de esos momentos que atesoro porque fueron muy especiales.
I feel that there should be more restrictions on the age at which they allow the younger ones to use technology, because there are many idle people who do not always want the good for others. We should be more present in the lives of our little ones and our family, the moments we spend together is the only thing we have left until the end of our lives. I am thankful that I was born in a time where technology was not yet so present and I was able to share with my loved ones and have memories of those moments that I treasure because they were very special.
