Hoy después de varios días de no ver una película cosa que realmente disfruto, tenía una guardada que esperaba ver con ansias ya que se trata de una de las cantantes más reconocidas y con una voz increíble que realmente atrapó a varias generaciones con sus canciones y su forma entrañable de ganarse el corazón de las personas por su manera tan auténtica y humana de ser tanto en el escenario cómo en su día a día. Les hablo de la cantante Celine Dion y su nuevo documental llamado "I Am Celine Dion" dónde podemos llegar a conocerla más a profundidad, desde sus inicios hasta sus momentos más íntimos y difíciles cómo en el tema de su salud y como esto afecta su voz. Today after several days of not watching a movie which I really enjoy, I had one saved that I was looking forward to see because it is about one of the most recognized singers with an incredible voice that really caught several generations with her songs and her endearing way of winning the hearts of people for her authentic and human way of being both on stage and in her day to day life. I am talking about the singer Celine Dion and her new documentary called "I Am Celine Dion" where we can get to know her more in depth, from her beginnings to her most intimate and difficult moments such as her health and how it affects her voice. El documental llamado I Am: Celine Dion" dirigido por Irene Taylor, nos cuenta desde la perspectiva de Celine sus inicios cómo cantante y parte de su vida personal, Celine es una mujer que nació en una familia numerosa que estuvo conformada por catorce hermanos, sus padres ambos músicos se conocieron en los escenarios y los unió la pasión y el amor que sentian por la música, ambos decidieron formar una familia que fue creciendo y en dónde según sus propias palabras nunca falto el amor en casa a pesar de que sabía que su madre en muchos momentos les mentía acerca de tener alimentos para comer y les servía lo poco que encontraba en la alacena pidiéndole a Dios que sus hijos nunca le preguntaran por qué estaban comiendo empanadas de zanahoria como ella menciona en el documental. A pesar de esto la familia siempre se mantuvo muy unida y todos disfrutaban de ser una familia numerosa donde podían entre hermanos jugar y divertirse juntos, en ese entonces cuando Celine tendría unos cinco años de edad comenzaría a cantar para su familia e incluso en eventos como el matrimonio de su hermano mayor donde con su pequeño tamaño pero con un gran talento comenzó a tomar en serio el hecho de querer ser cantante.

Con el pasar de los años Celine Dion se convertiria en una de las artistas más exitosas y amadas del mundo, con una larga carrera de más de cuatro décadas, vendiendo más de 200 millones de discos a nivel mundial, ganando una gran cantidad de premios incluyendo cinco Grammys, dónde su capacidad para transmitir emociones a traves de sus canciones la catapulto como una de las mejores cantantes de la década y quien siempre mostró gran pasión por la música siendo esta su manera de ofrecerle al mundo un poco de amor y fuerza, la misma que la caracteriza como persona y que le ha permitido conocer el mundo y además ser parte de la historia de la música. Para mí Celine Dion a quien conocía por su famosa canción My Heart Will Go On la cuál fue muy popular en los 90 luego del estreno de la película Titanic, me pareció una mujer con una voz única y que refleja de una manera muy emotiva las letras de sus canciones llegando al punto de emocionarte hasta las lágrimas y en este documental dónde se muestra más humana que nunca fue difícil que no se me salieran algunas lágrimas al ver lo fuerte que ha sido sobre todo despues de perder al amor de su vida y padre de sus tres hijos, y además ser diagnosticada con una rara enfermedad neurológica llamada Sindrome de la Persona Rígida.

Para mí este documental además de mostrar lo grande que ha sido Celine Dion cómo cantante desde sus pequeños momentos en familia disfrutando de su voz y de lo que la convertiría en una artista mundial, también es una muestra de que todos somos seres humanos que tenemos momentos en donde nos toca enfrentarnos con nuestros miedos y con la crudeza de una enfermedad que a pesar de ser solo diagnosticada en una persona por cada millón de personas es algo que le tocó vivir a Celine Dion y quién a pesar de tener bienes materiales, fama y una familia hermosa no tiene la capacidad de poder controlar sus propio cuerpo y su voz, la voz con la que ha enamorado a cada fan y que desea con el corazón poder recuperar para seguir haciendo lo que ama. Celine Dion es un testimonio de que a pesar de las dificultades de la vida, supo salir adelante y aunque en este momento su salud no sea la mejor aún ella sigue siendo esa mujer que aunque siente ganas de rendirse sigue adelante cómo la mujer fuerte que es.
