Cuando regreso al pasado puedo verte sonreír, esa sonrisa que cautivó mi existir y lleno de luces cada rincón de mi ser. No era algo difícil para ti ser una persona que contagiaba la alegría que dentro de ti existía, podías pasar horas hablando de la vida y cada segundo valía la pena porque hacías ver aquellas historias como algo fantástico. Tenías siempre esa forma de cuidar a los demás a pesar de que muchas veces no sabías hacerlo contigo mismo. Suena extraño pensar que podías ser tan risueño y a la vez ocultar tus más profundos sueños. Sueños que contabas entre dientes y que te hacían pensar que la vida aunque fuera dura siempre valdría la pena y que sin importar que estuvieras distante, siempre de alguna forma estabas presente en alma y corazón. Cuando regreso al pasado pienso como hubiera sido mi vida si no te hubiera conocido, tal vez era parte del plan del universo que nuestro encuentro se diera y aunque hoy en día no hablemos te recuerdo con cariño.

When I go back to the past I can see you smiling, that smile that captivated my existence and filled every corner of my being with light. It was not difficult for you to be a person who spread the joy that existed inside you, you could spend hours talking about life and every second was worth it because you made those stories seem fantastic. You always had that way of taking care of others even though many times you didn't know how to do it with yourself. It sounds strange to think that you could be so cheerful and at the same time hide your deepest dreams. Dreams that you mumbled about and that made you think that life even though it was hard would always be worth it and that no matter how distant you were, you were always somehow present in your heart and soul. When I go back to the past I think how my life would have been if I had not met you, maybe it was part of the plan of the universe that our meeting would happen and although today we do not talk I remember you with affection.
