[ESP-ENG] Brilla con luz propia y en el camino ilumina la vida de los demás.

Hola amigos de la comunidad de Womentribe, espero que se encuentren bien el día de hoy. Hoy estuve leyendo la iniciativa de nuestra compañera @nathyortiz titulada "La misma luz que ves en los demás, también brilla dentro de ti" y me pareció muy importante hablar de este tema, ya que todos tenemos una luz que nos hace únicos y que en el camino de la vida nos permite usarla de forma positiva en nuestras relaciones interpersonales.

Hello friends of the Womentribe community, I hope you are well today. Today I was reading the initiative of our colleague @nathyortiz titled "The same light you see in others, also shines within you" and I found it very important to talk about this topic, since we all have a light that makes us unique and that in the path of life allows us to use it in a positive way in our interpersonal relationships.

Cuando se habla de brillar con luz propia pienso que es el punto del ser humano en el que ha descubierto tanto sus luces como sus sombras y ha trabajado en mejorar todas las cosas que pueden llegar a afectarnos, siempre pensé que una persona que brilla con luz propia es aquella que sabe lo que quiere para su vida y lucha por conseguir sus sueños por muy grandes que parezcan. Es facil reconocer a una persona que sabe presentarse como un ser humano con calidad humana porque se ve desde su trato y sus acciones y esto es algo que no todos los seres humanos pueden conseguir y por eso en algunas ocasiones están esos seres que buscan opacar a otros solo porque se sienten minimizados.

When we talk about shining with own light I think it is the point of the human being in which he has discovered both his lights and shadows and has worked to improve all the things that can affect us, I always thought that a person who shines with own light is the one who knows what he wants for his life and fights to achieve his dreams no matter how big they may seem. It is easy to recognize a person who knows how to present himself as a human being with human quality because it is seen from his treatment and actions and this is something that not all human beings can achieve and that is why sometimes there are those who seek to overshadow others just because they feel minimized.

Una de las personas que más admiro es a mi mamá porque a pesar de ser una persona que viene de un lugar humilde dónde no faltó el cariño que le dieron sus abuelos y su madre, ella siempre se ha comportado como un ser humano de luz, desde su forma de expresarse hasta sus propias acciones que dicen mucho más que las palabras. Mi mamá es una persona luchadora y muy inteligente, ella siempre pensó en el bienestar de nosotros sus hijos pero también se ganó amistades verdaderas por su gran corazón y empatía. Estos rasgos la hacen ser una persona con una luz infinita que puede llegar a iluminar la vida de todo aquel que se cruza en su camino.

One of the people I admire the most is my mom because despite being a person who comes from a humble place where she did not lack the love that her grandparents and her mother gave her, she has always behaved as a human being of light, from the way she expresses herself to her own actions that say much more than words. My mom is a fighter and a very intelligent person, she always thought about the well being of us her children but she also earned true friendships because of her big heart and empathy. These traits make her a person with an infinite light that can illuminate the life of anyone who crosses her path.

Me gusta hablar de mi mamá porque es alguien a quien admiro mucho, pero es importante hablar de mi y de mi luz, siempre fui una persona que trataba de no opacar a los demás y mantenerme al margen de el caos y los problemas, nunca me ha gustado el conflicto y mucho menos la habladuría o estar en la posición de hablar mal de otra persona y menos si no la conozco. Esto es algo que admiro de mi misma porque a pesar de que he estado en la posición de poder hacer el mal siempre pienso que eso no es algo que forma parte de mi y que además no debo hacerlo porque al final la vida se encarga de poner a todos en el lugar que merecen.

I like to talk about my mom because she is someone I admire a lot, but it is important to talk about me and my light, I have always been a person who tried not to overshadow others and stay out of the chaos and problems, I have never liked the conflict and much less the talk or be in the position to speak ill of another person and less if I do not know her. This is something I admire about myself because even though I have been in the position of being able to do evil I always think that this is not something that is part of me and that I should not do it because in the end life puts everyone in the place they deserve.

No me siento superior por decir que no soy una persona que le guste hacer el mal a otros pero si destaco que es parte de mi personalidad y siento que eso me hace brillar con luz propia, siempre me gusta ser amable hasta donde pueda con las personas porque muchas veces no sabemos por qué situaciones estén pasando los demás como para venir y tratarlos de mala manera. Mi familia siempre me decía que una de mis cualidades era ser una persona auténtica, que siempre decía la verdad y que soy muy madura para mí edad en relación con otras personas de mi edad. Ser autentico para mí es la mayor forma de brillar con luz propia, porque no hay nada mejor que mostrarse tal y como eres.

I do not feel superior for saying that I am not a person who likes to do evil to others but I do emphasize that it is part of my personality and I feel that makes me shine with my own light, I always like to be kind as far as I can with people because many times we do not know what situations others are going through to come and treat them in a bad way. My family always told me that one of my qualities was to be an authentic person, that I always tell the truth and that I am very mature for my age in relation to other people my age. Being authentic for me is the best way to shine with my own light, because there is nothing better than showing yourself as you are.

Una forma de poder ver nuestras cualidades y fortalezas es conociendo lo que nos apasiona, lo que nos genera bienestar y con lo que nos sentimos a gusto. A mí me gusta mucho poder tener diarios y escribir un montón aunque sea de diferentes cosas que me sucedan en la semana o en el mes, es una forma en la que logro conectar con mi lado creativo y a la vez dreno de una forma saludable. Para empezar a brillar con tu luz propia tienes que pasar por procesos que muchas veces son inquietantes o incómodos, dónde tendrás que ver tú lado menos bonito pero esto te ayudará a saber que aunque todos poseemos blancos y grises podemos tomar lo mejor que tengamos y junto con las herramientas necesarias convertirnos en seres humanos que brillan con luz propia y que hacen que los demás se sientan bien y puedan brillar a su manera.

One way to be able to see our qualities and strengths is to know what we are passionate about, what generates wellbeing and what we feel comfortable with. I really like to keep journals and write a lot, even if it's about different things that happen to me during the week or month, it's a way for me to connect with my creative side and at the same time drain in a healthy way. To start shining your own light you have to go through processes that are often unsettling or uncomfortable, where you will have to see your less beautiful side but this will help you to know that although we all have whites and grays we can take the best we have and together with the necessary tools become human beings that shine with their own light and make others feel good and can shine in their own way.

Brillar con luz propia no significa eclipsar a los demás. Se trata de reconocer y celebrar nuestras propias cualidades mientras ayudamos a otros a hacer lo mismo. A través de la autenticidad, la empatía y la gratitud, podemos crear un entorno donde todos tengan la oportunidad de brillar. Estoy comprometida a dejar una huella positiva en la vida de los demás, y espero que, al compartir mi viaje, inspire a otros a hacer lo mismo. Juntos, podemos iluminar el mundo de una manera hermosa y significativa.

Shining a bright light does not mean outshining others. It's about recognizing and celebrating our own qualities while helping others do the same. Through authenticity, empathy and gratitude, we can create an environment where everyone has the opportunity to shine. I am committed to leaving a positive imprint on the lives of others, and I hope that by sharing my journey, I inspire others to do the same. Together, we can brighten the world in a beautiful and meaningful way.
