October hive garden journal || A good month of our veggies growing

Happiness is the seed we planted , watching them sprouting leaves.

Hello friends !

Gardening is a love ...And once you fall in love with this,This love becomes deeper every day 😊.

I have always liked nature...I also like to walk in the garden, but for the last 2-3 months I have developed a special love for gardening. I tried to plant a lot of vegetables, I haven't done harvesting yet....but this month is good for us.

On 2nd October I added seeds of okra, cucumber, tomato and bottle gourd . For this we get ready our soil mix with soil, vermi compost, cockopit.

We first put the seeds in a small container to germinate the seeds.

Let's see about these plants progress for this month :

Cucumber and bottle gourd plant 😀 :

Surprisingly cucumber seeds start germinate from the next day. And bottle gourd seeds germinate in 4 days. It was really a happy moment. Because first time we tried to grow these vegetables.

And the growth was very fast ...here you can see the growth of cucumber and bottle gourd plants :

Within 15 days these plants gets bigger and when we saw the 3rd leaves start to grow we decide to transplantation these plants.

So we transplant cucumber plants in the pot and bottle gourd plant on the land.

OKRA :

Here you can see how okra seeds germinate and we replantation these plants on the ground. There are many plants of okra and we are hopeful for it's growing.

Tomato 🍅 :

As i mentioned last month Last month my tomato plant was damaged... I tried to grow it again...We sowed its seeds along with all other vegetables but its growth is the slowest... but still I'm hopeful for the best result.

Papaya tree 🌴

September last we bought two papaya plants and replanting these plants at our garden.

And after planting these plants, some new leaves have started appearing in them, which you can enjoy here :

Watermelon 🍉

As i shared last month that 2 watermelon are growing there. But this month there was no special growth in them...And 4-5 days ago we plucked them because the watermelon vines had also started to spoil...These were not big in size but they tasted really delicious.

We also grow some more veggies like green chilli, spinach, coriander, Fenugreek, Fennel , potato and some more, which about I'll share in my upcoming post.

Earlier we always used to depend on our gardener but this time we are trying to grow everything ourselves. From sowing seeds to watering....We are trying to manage everything ourselves. And gardening is truly a very relaxing activity. I wish our plants grow well and soon i'll share my first harvesting experience with all of you .
