Lauki(bottle gourd)kofta curry recipe: Good food good mood # 11

How are you all? Hope you all are good and having a good time. I'm also good and enjoying cooking and tasty food.
I'm so happy to continue the series of good food good mood. In this series today I want to share the recipe of lauki kofta curry.
Lauki or bottle gourd is a vegetable which is so healthy and contains lots of vitamins. This is really a rich , creamy and delicious recipe.
In lauki kofta curry , veg curry made with onion and tomato gravy. Where kofta is made with lauki (bottle gourd) and gram flour & some spices. This is my most favourite recipe. Even my whole family like this.

Ingredients:
Bottle gourd
Gram flour
Oil
Onion
Tomato
Salt
Red chilli powder
Ginger garlic paste
Green chilli
Turmaric powder
Cumin seeds
Garam masala
Curd
Method for kofta :
- First took lauki and peel it.
- Now grate the lauki.
- Squeeze out the water completely and put it in a bowl.
- Add gram flour, salt, red chilli powder in the grated lauki.
Mix all ingredients well and make round shaped balls. Be careful that you get thick consistency . If there is water than it will be difficult to make the balls.
Now heat oil in a pan and fried the koftas.
- Take them out on the kitchen tissue to drain excess oil.
Here is the lauki koftas are ready. I also love to eat these koftas without gravy 😜
Method for gravy:
- First make tomato puree. Add ginger and green chilli while making puree.
- On the other hand make onion gravy. Add garlic cloves to make the gravy.
- Taka a pan or wok . Heat 4 tsp oil and add cumin seeds. When cumin seeds start sizzle add onion gravy.
- Stir fry it until it turn light pink.
- Add tomato puree and mix well.
- Cook it for 3-4 minutes and add masalas. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala. Mix welk and cook it for 2-3 minutes. Add lauki water as much as required.
- Again cook it for 2 minutes and add curd.
- Cook it for 2-3 minutes on medium flame and add lauki kaufta before 5-10 minutes of serving time.
- Garnish it with some coriander leaves.
- Lauki kofta curry is ready to enjoy 😋
Taste is spicy and Savory with soft koftas. Can enjoy with fulkas, naan, tandoori roti , pulao and so on. I like to have it with normal roti.

Although I don't like bottle gourd much, but my mother also makes such koftas.I like them very much.It tastes totally different.
