Diwali rangoli step by step pictures || The indian folk art

Hello friends !

Welcome to my blog again. I am so glad that you are here. Hope you all are good and enjoying yourself.

Today i want to share my rangoli pictures with you all. Which we create for diwali festival at our home yard.

Rangoli is the famous art of India. Which we make at every occasion. Whether you want to welcome someone or celebrate a festival...Rangoli is always made....this is a art which made on floor with the combination of vibrant colour. We can also made with flowers, flour, sand and any other items.

Making Rangoli is always considered auspicious. Flowers, peacocks, images of gods, everything can be made into rangoli....This is truly a great art...which looks very beautiful.

Every diwali we made rangoli at the entrance of the house to welcome lord ram , sita and laxmi. We also made flowers rangoli at our home temple.

Every year we start thinking of designs a few days in advance...For that I first buy colours from the market...Which is also a lot of fun....here are some pictures from the market 😀 while we buying colors for rangoli :

Here you can see many beautiful colors and rangoli makers. We bought so many colors according to our design .

On the day of diwali at the noon we start to make rangoli. First we draw it with the chauk. We select design of lotus with peacock feather. We get this design via google.

We (me and my sister in-law) starts to make rangoli with peacock.

After completing peacock face we start to make lotous. I really like that bright pink color Lotus design which looks so beautiful with peacock.

At last we made peacock feather. Here you can see this process in some steps.

It took almost 2 hours to complete this Rangoli. And here is the Final result :

At night after worship goddess we decorate our home and also decorate our rangoli with earth lamps 🪔 .

Look how stunning it is looking. That day we really feel so happy and exited to decorate our rangoli.

We clicked so many pictures with our rangoli.

I hope you like this colorful rangoli with me. In my upcomming post I'll share all about diwali festival celebration.

Thank you so much for your valuable time, support and love 🤍🌸
