Cow and Street photography

The cow is the purest type of sub-human life - Mahatma Gandhi.

๐Ÿ™ Hello friends and Black& white community members ๐Ÿ™

How are you all ? Hope you all are good and enjoying your weekend. I am also good and enjoying my Sunday ๐Ÿ˜„.

Yesterday morning when i went to temple like every Saturday i captured some black and white street shots , which i want to share with you all , first let's enjoy the pictures :

Here you can see the glimpse of cow on the streets. Actually there is a temple on the highway. And at one side there is a lady who sold green grass for the cows. In 4th picture you can see the cows are grazing the grass. In our religion We consider it very auspicious to feed the cow...So this is a regular activity, outside the temple or on any street corner where there is some empty space. Even in rainy weather there is some trouble...The weather was cloudy that day too. Which you can see in the pictures. In last picture you can also see some rain water on the side of the road. But giving grass to cow and watching them eat gives immense peace to the heart.

I hope you enjoy these pictures with me.

This is my submission for #monomad challenge by @monochromes.

Thank you so much for your time, support and love ๐Ÿค๐ŸŒธ

I remembered that a few days ago there were some cows on the side of the road and my father said they were buffaloes, that I shouldn't go near them in case they ran towards me. ๐Ÿ˜…
Thank you for sharing these everyday images and details about your culture.

I didn't know that cows meant something auspicious in your religion.
Great black and white photography.

How beautiful they are, in the sun, waiting for their grass, I would love to buy some and feed them!!! I really liked your pictures, and that you bring us this story about how they are handled there and that it is common for you to see them and that they sell this food. I like that part of the traditions!
