Welcome to another #threetunetuesday created originally by @ablaze.
It's another late Tuesday evening and I thought I would share my top 3 ZZ Top tunes.
I am pretty sure that most people have heard of ZZ Top with their iconic cars, guitars and long beards. The cars were particularly amazing and I remember that I wanted one of those for sure when I was younger.
The first tune is probably their 2nd most well known tune as it has become pretty cult and well known clips of it played in many places. I find it a call for me everywhere to dress smarter somehow 😅. Somehow I often lose the motivation to dress smart, but when you do, it can be worth it. I just don't usually dress up so smart to go to the shops, it feels like an anti-climax of sorts.
ZZ Top - Sharp Dressed Man
The next tune is probably also instantly recognisable as it is a rock classic with an awesome rift. It is pure bliss to listen to and so easy going.
If you like guitar work with some great drums, this tune is for you. You play the guitar? Probably you already learnt the famous rift already?
ZZ Top - La Grange
The final tune is a little cheeky I think. An 80s classic and another one of my ZZ favorites. I find it better than their popular hit Gimme All Your Loving.
The video is hilarious and sticks in my mind with the classic 80s fashion, such a cool era!

La Grange is my favorite. I watched them live in Belgrade in 2009. Great!

Memories! My partner sang 'sharp dressed man' everytime as he was getting dressed after taking a shower!. It's been 7years since he died and his version of that song still plays in my head, clear as day!
That is a lovely memory to have of your partner. ❤️ It is one of those songs that has stood the test of time and helps to rekindle the memories of those we love.
I have never heard of this band before, but so nice to see the clip from the 80. Things were a lot different from what we have now, especially the fashion.

I never really got into ZZ Top, but I should circle back to them for sure. They do have some really good songs. I'm not sure why I never really connected with their music before. It's definitely a style that I like.
I thought they might have been something you liked Bozz. I guess they were quite commercialised though.
I mean I know them, but I can't quite put my finger on why I never got into them.

Their iconic cars were something that I liked about them and thought of getting one someday but now, the cars seemed old fashioned. La Grange is my favorite, the beat is excellent!
Yeah, there is something about the cars that I always tie to the band. The La Grange tune is a classic I think.

It's harder to choose a cooler band than ZZ Top! They've always been on of my favorites. Those are all three excellent songs! It was such a shame when Dusty Hill dies a couple years ago. What a great band!
