RE: Walking under rain. Some wet street photography from St.Petersburg (visual story in 13 photos)

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

The ability of some women to be able to accurately predict the exact timeline of rain coming just from looking at the clouds is astounding! Those are some great captures, I do love the colours and am surprised more people are not with umbrellas!

Ha! I was without umbrella, and my daughter too. I prefer to keep my hands free, and umbrella is not only an 'element of style', but also an excessive 0.5kg weight in my backpack. I refer not to go out at all when it rains... or use a raincoat and a cap with a long visor. If I had already been at home when the rain started - I would never have gone outside with a camera, even with an umbrella assistent covering me from behind. I am a lazy person... but also I am a bit reckless person - so, already finding myself under the rain, I used the opportunity for #street #photography. It may sound paradoxical, but it is. 😄 Thank you very much for your extra support, I really appreciate it. Glad the photos entertained you. Sending you some hive !PIZZA and !BEER. And I wish you good weather for the whole week!

Thank you. As a Brit, we are always prepared with umbrellas in case we need them, they are almost like part of our clothes, because it rains so much! haha

Then I note, that St.Petersburg citizens might be the closest to Brits 😎 It is a city of rains! (I wish it better had more fogs...) !BEER
