My Entry Monomad Challenge #212 - Torch parade tradition
Hello Hiver in Black And White Community Lover
My entry this time is some pictures of black and white Photos
This torch relay activity is a tradition of welcoming Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha for Muslims in my area. Residents gathered consisting of adult men to children around the village carrying torches and chanting takbiran.
The torch used is made of bamboo filled with oil and cloth as the wick. This activity is only held twice a year. And to this day the torch relay is still being carried out.
I took these photos a few months ago. As you can see in the image I shared here. Hundreds of people walked with torches in their hands.
Well, what is unique about this activity is after the implementation of this activity is carried out. Everyone who participated regrouped and shared a meal to eat together. After everything was done, they returned to their respective homes. And the torches that have been used will be collected by the organizing committee. Well, that's the short story of my post this time. Oh, these photos are my entry into the black and white photography challenge.
This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes.
Alright, that's my post this time. I hope you like the photos that I share through my hive blog.
