It is difficult for me to understand why citizens wouldn't want to be in charge of their own money and make choices about the way it is used, saved, etc.
I feel like people are just too used to giving control and responsibility to someone else. Then when things go wrong they feel like they can blame them.
I don't really see any advantage of the state controlling anything.
