Deworming our Fur Babies
Hello pet lovers! This is Jhon Rey it's my first time posting here.
Deworming means treating (an animal) to free it of worms.
Deworming is an important preventative care regime for reducing parasites (internal and external) and improving your pet’s health. It is also important to help to prevent transmission of parasites to you and your human family members! |
By the way, before we go to our main topic I would like to introduce first the mother and father of our puppies.
Guys meet Lesley ( Black) the mother and Blue ( Gray) the father they were both American Bully.
Upon breeding of dogs, the best time is late afternoon or at night so they don't get tired right away. It is also important to get a shooter for them to assist.
Let's go to the main topic.
Deworming our pets is essential for both their health and ours because the parasites can spread to humans, especially if they sleep next to us.
It is recommended that our fur babies be dewormed every 2 weeks until they reach 3 months of age. Puppies are usually born with parasites passed on from mom (even if mom is dewormed) before they are born.
Here are a few tips for deworming our fur babies.
The Puppies should examine by the vet first.
We need to disinfect the things we are going to use.
We need to get the exact weight of our puppies before giving them medicine.
With exact weight we can give them the exact dosage for deworming. Remember the wrong dosage may cause blindness.
After being dewormed, your puppies will be a little slower than usual and this is because their body is recovering. Give your puppies plenty of time to rest and recover and keep them as comfortable as possible. In a few days, your puppies will be full of energy and ready to go!
That's all thank you for reading.
