Los rulesets de Splinterlands tienen cada uno sus particularidades que los hacen únicos y que le dan tanto contenido al juego, entre la extensa lista de ellos podemos encontrar a Briar Path, un ruleset de los mas molestos de todo el juego, pero a la vez uno de los que mas provecho se les puede sacar si lo utilizas con sabiduria, hoy en este #BattleMageSecrets te voy a enseñar un poco de eso, asi que disfrutalo.

Each Splinterlands rulesets have their own particularities that make them special and unique and give so much content to the game, among the extensive list of them we can find one in particular, Briar Path, one of the most annoying ruleset of the whole game, but at the same time one of the most profitable if you use it wisely, today in this #BattleMageSecrets I'll show you a little of that, so enjoy it.
Briar Path
Este ruleset tiene un funcionamiento simple, lo complejo viene después. Pero básicamente lo que hace es otorgarle la habilidad Thorns a todas las cartas en el juego, esta es una de las habilidades mas molestas de enfrentar pero que tiene tanto fortalezas como debilidades y ahí es donde empieza la complejidad del ruleset.
¿Cómo sacarle provecho a este ruleset?
La mejor forma es utilizando cartas de ataque mágico y a distancia, porque estas dos no reciben daño de la habilidad Thorns (solo las cartas Melee lo hacen) pero seguirán teniendo la habilidad, haciendo que las cartas con Melee del enemigo si reciban daño. Las cartas con la habilidad Reflection Shield no reciben daño de esta habilidad sin importar que, y eso lo debes tomar en consideracion tambien para sacarle provecho al ruleset, y tambien que la habilidad Amplify aumenta el daño que causa Thorns.
Utilizar cartas con Triage, Heal y Tank Heal te puede ayudar mucho porque te ayudará a recuperar parte de la salud perdida en cada turno, ya que no usar cartas Melee a veces puede ser peligroso o incluso imposible si aparece un ruleset como Up, Close & Personal.
This ruleset has a simple operation on first terms, the complex comes later. But basically what it does is to grant the Thorns ability to all cards in the game, this is one of the most annoying abilities to face but it has both strengths and weaknesses and that is where the complexity of the ruleset begins.
How to take advantage of this ruleset?
The best way is to play on this ruleset is using magic attack and ranged cards, because these two don't take damage from the Thorns ability (only Melee cards do) but they will still have the ability, making the enemy's Melee cards take damage. Cards with the Reflection Shield ability do not take damage from this ability no matter what, and you should also take that into consideration to take advantage of the ruleset, and also that the Amplify ability increases the damage caused by Thorns.
Using cards with Triage, Heal and Tank Heal abilities can help you a lot because it will help you recover part of the health lost in each turn, since not using Melee cards can sometimes be dangerous or even impossible if a ruleset like Up, Close & Personal appears.
Lost Magic + Briar Path + Equal Opportunity; 15 Mana Cap
Round 1
Me encantan las batallas de mana bajo, lo he dicho siempre, porque te limitan mucho lo cual te obliga a pensar bien tu estrategia. En este caso estoy utilizando solamente cartas de ataque Melee, lo que me da desventaja en este ruleset, eso en parte porque no se pueden usar cartas de daño mágico y a la vez por los bonos de Tarsa.
Radiated Scorcher funcionará como tanque, gracias al ruleset Equal Opportunity puedes usar un tanque sin mucho poder pues no va a ser objetivo de muchos ataques en la batalla.
Aganju es una carta muy rara que es perfecta para estos casos de poco mana.
Kobold Bruiser tiene un daño enorme y buena vida, perfecto para aguantar daño.
Ant Miners irá aumentando su vida cada vez que un monstruo muera, algo que va a pasar con total seguridad en esta batalla por el ruleset.
Flame Monkey con su reparacion de armadura puede dar sorpresas combinandose con Ant Miners.
Por ultimo, Serpentine Spy, una carta perfecta para atacar rapido y con potencia.
La idea de esta alineacion es potenciar al maximo a Ant Miners para que se convierta en la base de todo.
I love the low mana battles on this game, I've always said it, because they limit you a lot on the cards you can play which forces you to think well your strategy. In this case I'm using only Melee attack cards, which gives me a disadvantage in this ruleset, partly because you can't use magic damage cards and partly because of Tarsa's bonuses.
Radiated Scorcher will work as a tank for this battle, thanks to the Equal Opportunity ruleset you can use a tank without much power because it will not be the target of many attacks in battle.
Aganju is a very rare card that is perfect for these low mana cases.
Kobold Bruiser has huge damage and good health, perfect for taking damage.
Ant Miners will increase its life points each time a monster dies on the battle, something that will happen for sure in this battle for the ruleset.
Flame Monkey with his armor repair ability can give surprises when combined with Ant Miners on this battle.
Finally, Serpentine Spy, a perfect card to attack fast and with power.
The idea of this lineup is to maximize the potential of Ant Miners to become the base of everything here.
Round 2
El plan se ejecutó perfectamente en la ronda anterior, mi Ant Miner aumento mucho su vida gracias a su habilidad y el "golpe gratis" que le da la reparacion de armadura es excelente para aumentar su durabilidad.
Al mismo tiempo el daño masivo es importante porque con estas cantidades de mana es muy probable que la mayoria de cartas sean de poca vida, ahi es donde brillan cartas como Serpentine Spy.
Usar a Venator Kinjo fue una jugada muy buena porque anula el daño del blast, sin embargo mi ataque era tan pesado que mi oponente se quedó sin opciones.
The plan was executed perfectly in the previous round, my Ant Miner increased his life a lot thanks to his ability and the "free hit" that the armor repair gives him is excellent to increase his durability.
At the same time the massive damage is very important because with these low amounts of mana it is very likely that most cards on the battle are low life, that's where cards like Serpentine Spy shine.
Using Venator Kinjo was a very good move because it cancels out the blast damage, however my attack was so heavy that my opponent ran out of options.
Entender los puntos debiles donde le puedes sacar ventaja a tu enemigo es primordial para convertirte en un buen jugador ¡enfocate en mejorar eso y veras como tu winrate aumentará muchisimo!
