Late Night Rambling | Work & Sleep Balance
I’m just getting done with the second assignment and it's almost 3’o clock.
Today was stressful for me but I honestly wasn't bothered about the stress rather I’m bothered about my sleeping routine in the last seven days which has drastically reduced to less than 4 hours.
And while I am left with just three hours before day breaks I am caught up between deciding on going to bed right after this post or completing the 6 assignments that were given today.
I started working on it a few hours ago and I was only able to get two done within 2 hours. So if I am to calculate the time it's going to take for the remaining 4 I might not get any sleep at all.
Moreover, I am also using another 30 minutes to write this post.
This is what I asked for so I can't complain. Life is all about decisions and choosing what type of pain you want to feel and endure so you can become better and stronger later.
Many times when things start to get better many people like to call it luck but what they fail to see is the fact that most of these people have been working and feeling the pain of not levelling up in their chosen field or career for a long time.
But whenever opportunity meets preparation that's when things become multiplier because the momentum is already there to take you very far.
In life whatever we do we always have to stick to it and keep on pushing forward no matter what and stop thinking about how long it might take before we start seeing results.
Right now I am very exhausted to the extent that I forgot to eat before I started working and I am just noticing that after I was done with the second assignment.
I think I have had a fair share of pain in my life and I now embrace any pain that comes on the road to success.
Nonetheless, we should also make sure we dont overdo it so that we dont burn out along the line. It is better to go slow and steady than to go too fast and burn out even faster which might lead one to give up on everything.
Right now I think I should have a few hours of sleep so that I can refresh my brain and then in the morning I can continue with it before heading out.
Life sometimes is all about balance and even if we can't balance it all equally and have the adequate 8 hours of sleep it is better to have a 4 hours sleep than not sleeping at all.
Off to bed, see you in my next post
