Get Back
So it appears that I've not been hitting the gym like I used to, which is a result of my financial status after my phone was stolen. Nonetheless, it won't be hard to go hard on some home workout routine.
For the past few weeks I've been exercising at home, however, it wasn't intense compared to the one in the gym. Apart from the part where you lift heavy objects, working out at home seems to be a lazy workout for me because I am usually not as serious as I would have been at the gym, I also spend less time, like way less time working out at home.
I noticed this of course at the start, but I don't seem to see it as a problem as I only had the idea that it is better than doing nothing, so doing it anyhow doesn't matter as long as I do it.
While it is better than doing nothing, it also has an outcome that looks almost like nothing but not nothing. The zero impact it has is baffling, worrying and demotivating to my spirit body and soul that I eventually stopped at one point just because of the result I was seeing.
Putting in the work
It appears that I haven't been putting in the work like I should and this has reflected in every area of my life, I'm less motivated, driven and engaged than I should have been. Being someone who likes to work and stay at his peak performance all the time I have had to accept these lows of my life as it is a down season for me.
However, just like the bear, I've got to survive and not push myself too hard until when I feel it's time to step up and get back.
Rest, Recharge and Get Back
In the coming weeks, I've made up my mind to get back because I've already rested for so long and hence have been able to recharge and reset my focus on a better way of handling things than before.
Of course, it is not only me getting back to a rigorous workout routine but also me getting back to reading, eating healthy(mainly having less sugar) and meditating before going to bed or in the morning daily. Also, some good yoga stretches would help to keep my flexibility too so I won't get stiff from too much heavy lifting.
All of this is sure not yet done but I will try as much as possible to make it happen sooner rather than later.
Thanks for reading
At some point, I used to think that working out at home was a very lazy way to workout as well but someone convinced me otherwise with enough evidence.
However, I feel the gym environment works best for some people, while others function best at home.
