Here's all you need to know about the final Minor Updates made for the month of February

February's Major update is up next!

NEW PAGES & FUNCTIONALITIES

We have been working hard to make the user experience as smooth as possible for the upcoming Tamer activation update. To achieve that, we have made major changes to the player's inventory.

You will now find 2 new pages called - Other assets and In-Game assets

Other Assets Page

Under this page, you will find all your NFTs except mutees (mutated animals). You'll notice that tamers will now be shown as Active and In-active.

Active Tamers : These are the tamers on which you use your tamer license. They will then be ready to earn from the game. Activated tamers will unlock all the features of the game and won't face any restrictions while exploring the game.

In-active Tamers : These are the tamers that you own but have not yet activated. This means that these tamers can't be used to play the game. To use them in the game, you'll need to activate them.

In-Game Assets Page

This page needs to be explained in detail. First thing to note is that only Activated Tamers can be sent to UNITY. Similarly, only caged mutees can be sent to UNITY (but this feature will be enabled later).

Now what do we mean by "Send to UNITY"?

As you know that we are using UNITY game engine to develop MuTerra. In order to play with an activated tamer, you'll need to send your tamer to UNITY. Once you do that, you will be able to play with it.
Once you send the activated tamer to UNITY, it will appear in In-Game Assets Page.

You will also be able to take back the Tamer you sent to UNITY from this page.

PIXEL ART

Making pixel art is one of the most time consuming and challenging part of MuTerra.

Creating sprite sheets of mutees (mutated animals) which have different sizes, weird shapes, looks and movement is not easy. To do justice to the mutee illustrations and keep the standard high, a lot of time goes into creating them. Having said that, all mutee sprite sheets have been completed for this month's major update.

Also, the tamer sprite sheets of all existing tamers have been completed and are ready to be deployed.

Your avatar in the game will be from one of the above tamers. It will depend on which activated tamer you have chosen to play.

NEW MUTEES

There are 70 mutees that will be released before we touch Beta stage of the game. Here's a mutee illustration for you all to act as a reminder that new mutees are always being created, in parallel to all the development that is happening, behind the scenes.

NEW TAMER

It's been a long time since a new tamer was introduced to MuTerra. So, please welcome ECHO! If you look carefully, you'll find that this tamer is a bit unique. But more on this in March 2023.

Ability : +1 Carrying capacity & 10% higher stamina

ORIGIN STORY

Whether it's a movie, play, novel or almost anything, everyone likes a good story. And it shouldn't come as a surprise to you that it was only after the story of MuTerra was created that we started developing MuTerra's gameplay.

Though we have mentioned the story of MuTerra here and there on our DISCORD SERVER a couple of times, we'd like to properly share the story with you all.

So before the month of February ends and before we deploy the most awaited major update, we will be sharing the origin story of MuTerra in the next couple of posts. Do look forward to it!
