MUTERRA : 1 WEEK ALPHA LAUNCH ANNIVERSARY
IT HAS BEEN ONE FULL WEEK SINCE MUTERRA'S ALPHA LAUNCH
AND HERE IS HOW IT ALL WENT ....
GAME MAPS
A total of 6 maps were revealed and players were allowed to experience the game environment. Talking to NPCs and hearing their funny dialogues, interacting with objects and getting lost in the mesmerizing music were some of the highlights of the Alpha release. PRELUDE
The game starts with a heart-felt letter written by the protagonist's grand-mother asking her grand-daughter, Fiona, to be brave, to stay strong and to follow her heart so that she could survive this MUtatedTERRAin.
INSIDE HEAD QUARTERS
The first map where the player spawns is inside the Head Quarters. This is where you'll find daily quests, mini map of the game and hear about what's happening outside in the wild.
RANGAT
This is the main stronghold of the Tamers in Andaman Islands. This map is free to play and anyone joining MuTerra can freely explore all the areas in this map.
TAVERN
This is the place where tamers hangout and talk about all the things they have seen in the wild. Its the best place to get information from different tamers and maybe get secret quests...
POTION SHOP
This is the place where you conccot different kinds of potions. You bring in the raw materials required for a particular potion and make yourself a nice vial of juice that can do wonders for you and your mutees!
FORGE
This building is for forging equipment for your mutees. Not just that, all kinds are accessories can be built here. Just collect the raw materials from the wild and bring them here!
SWEET PLAINS
This is the first wild map of MuTerra. This is the first place where you will encounter wild mutees and find raw materials to farm. Be careful when you enter this map as mutees will try to kill you here!

MUT AIRDROP AND STAKING REWARDS
With the Alpha Launch of the game, MuTerra's only token, MUT, started airdropping everyday into those accounts that were holding MuTerra assets. You can read about MUT airdrop in the AIRDROP POST.
- A total of 7,000.423 MUT has been airdropped to 478 accounts since the Alpha Launch which was 7 days ago.
Not just that, MUT staking rewards started along with the airdrop too! You get MUT everyday as a reward for staking MUT. More MUT you stake, more will be your voting power! Staking MUT also gives a really nice APR in the first year and you can read all about it in the MUT STAKING POST.
- 4716.255 MUT has been staked till now. And the amount keeps going up each day!
We aren't airdropping too much MUT if you compare it to the use-case and sinks we have planned. All this was planned to keep the price of MUT up at all times. You can read all about the planned sinks in the FAUCETS & SINKS POST.
SALE FIGURES
With the Alpha Launch, 2 assets of MuTerra were put on sale. They have been up for sale for 7 days and here the sale figures :
TAMER LICENSE : 300+ sold
CRATES : 11,800+ sold
Both these assets give MUT airdrop each day. While tamer license will be required to start earning from the game, Crates are supplements that can help a player in their quest to find rarer items.
With the Alpha Launch, we have also seen a lot of movement in our alpha edition packs, MALDIVES PACKS. The prices have gone up and out of 20,000 Maldives Packs that will ever exist, 11,300+ packs have already been opened!
UPCOMING UPDATES
In the last 7 days since the launch, we have received a lot of feedback from the community and the team is hard at work implementing them. The next release will cover most, if not all, of those suggestions.
We are also aiming for at least 1 major release per month accompanied by smaller releases and bug fixes per week.
Tamer License requirement to explore the maps, Tamer Activation using tamer license and issuing the common tamer, using different tamers in unity, 2 new maps, 6 wild mutees and more is the next milestone we are aiming for.

MuTerra is set in a post-apocalyptic world where radiation has killed almost all of humanity and has mutated plants and animals. You, the survivors, are tasked with ensuring that humanity doesn't go extinct by exploring the wild, capturing the mutated animals and taming them.
MuTerra is a TCG + RPG game on HIVE blockchain.
RPG : explorations, raids, quests, interacting with NPCs, solving mysteries, character stories, and more
TCG : PvE and PvP battles, collect NFTs, trade them and fight other players using the cards you have collected to prove you are the better tamer.
