I found some very interesting rolls
A couple of days ago I was walking around a famous shopping mall in my city, I was looking for something different to eat, but most of the establishments were offering the same thing. I think it is normal to see mostly pizza, hamburgers, coffee shops and the truth is that I have already tried many times those foods. So on the horizon we saw an establishment called Chef Margaro, a place that offers Japanese food, but with a very particular style. We didn't think it was a bad idea to try some rolls since we really missed the ones we ate in Peru at a restaurant called Shimaya, there is a post about that in my feed from a couple of years ago.
So we ordered a promotion of 25 rolls for 11$, it seemed economical considering that sushi rolls around the world are usually expensive, or at least here in Venezuela these are. We had the option of ordering some tempura rolls, but these have never been to our liking, so we ordered all of them cold.
The first thing that caught our attention when we received the rolls was that these were quite large and not exactly because they had a lot of rice, as it usually happens, but instead these had a large amount of filling and of course these were covered with nori seaweed. I don't know about you, but I have eaten in places where the rolls could be eaten in one bite, however, in the case of these it is impossible because of their large size.
These rolls were filled with crab, cream, banana, avocado, fish and shrimp. Not all of them contained the aforementioned as we noticed that they were alternated in terms of ingredients and frankly that is the best thing, in my opinion it is not good for a roll to have too many ingredients.
It was interesting to try these rolls, their large size can be an attraction for those who like to eat in large quantities, but I particularly prefer them smaller. I think that if we consider the price of the 25 rolls they are more than a good offer, for two people it is enough for two people. Another reason why I consider the rolls to be a good deal is because they are not filled with cheap or poor quality stuff, the crab, shrimp and fish were very good and the cream cheese was just as it should be.
The only thing I will complain about these rolls is the fact that these have banana, I don't know if it is normal, but at least in Peru no sushi variant contained banana. I don't like the texture and flavor that banana adds to the rolls, I feel it makes them heavier and adds absolutely nothing. Anyway, it was a mostly gratifying experience that I could repeat, but we think there are other places that could be better.

Those rolls are indeed bigger than usual. :)
I have to be careful when eating them, though...
I'm allergic to most seafoods, so I can't have them... T_T
Oh, it's too bad you're allergic to seafood. I'm not a big fan of seafood, in fact, it's very few things that I like, for example, I don't like oysters and I don't like dealing with shells. Frankly I find it more appealing to eat meat, chicken and pork.
Yeah~~~ T_T
Meat is life! xDD
I never tried Sushi rolls ever .. but heard about them many time.. these sushi rolls looks tempting & delicious...
You can try them a few times, it's not something you eat often as they can be expensive, so it's just a periodic thing. Cheers!
okay.. I really don't have any idea about the cost.. but thankyou for your suggestion..
Will definitely gonna share my review once i have it..
sometimes i can't tell the difference between kimbab and sushi :D
Oh, interesting, in fact, seem to be the same, I don't see many differences haha. Cheers!
They look very tasty 😋 in fact, everywhere I go I see pizzas, hamburgers and others haha it's good to vary from time to time and these rolls are a good option, except for the banana that, in my case, I don't like in any meal, owl stuff haha 😂 anyway they look super tasty! 😋
Definitely banana should not go with these rolls, next time I will ask not to add it, however, I like banana in other dishes, these are things that an owl would not understand 😅.

Chef Margaro's sushi rolls sound like a great find, especially at such an economical price. It must have been nice to reminisce about the ones from Peru while trying these new ones.
Hmmm now this is something I'll like to taste myself, I havent tasted one before though but it does sound delicious
