This is how the Akiba Fest VZLA was experienced

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

Last Sunday I had the opportunity to attend the Akiba Fest VZLA edition. This festival has been taking place in my city with some regularity for some time now and it is noticeable that it is growing more and more. I was able to notice this because the number of people attending is increasing. As it usually happens in these events, there were contests, cosplay, games, music and much more. This edition of Akiba Fest was held in a roofed space of the Universidad Bicentenaria de Aragua, a place where I had the pleasure of graduating as an accountant, in fact, in this same space was my graduation ceremony, so returning here brought back nice memories.

So, below you will see a series of photos with the highlights of this event, you will notice that there was a great influx of people and that's great because it gives me to understand that this culture is growing and getting stronger. While I was there I was thinking that it would be great for these people to meet The Anime Realm community of this beloved blockchain, I think it would be very interesting to read their reviews and preferences.

Cosplay

As it usually happens in these events, cosplayers are always there to set the best atmosphere for the place, I could see excellent works (each time better) which were very varied in terms of anime. I must emphasize that this edition of Akiba Fest was characterized by having the theme Jujutsu Kaisen, so I expected that most cosplays were of that anime, however, everything was very varied and I imagine that it is not easy to develop these costumes.

One of the most striking contests of the day was the drawing contest and since the theme was Jujutsu Kaisen, the drawing had to be from that anime. The winners were awarded with gifts by the organization. I must say that there were very good drawings, unfortunately I could not photograph them to share them with the community.

Another of the most exciting attractions for the attendees was the musical show by Callmedidos, a guitarist who performs guitar covers of the most representative openings and endings of anime, and well, he really made the place vibrate with his excellent work.

So, this was the highlight of Akiba Fest VZLA edition, it was a hot and rainy afternoon, but it served to make the Otaku culture present in spaces that I never thought I would see. I invite you to watch the video to see in more detail the best moments of the day. Greetings!

Wow, you can tell there were a lot of visitors, that guitarist is wonderful, he plays with such naturalness and ease, very good indeed 😍

I can imagine your emotions to be in that space again, lots of memories of your years of study ❤️

If those people were in The anime Realm community, they would make wonderful reviews hehe 🦉

Yes, there were things that came to my mind in this event, university memories and the idea of integrating a great part of the attendees to Hive and to this community.

I had a great time. Cheers!

Very cool those events, I don't know if it's just that I don't know about them but here in Caracas there are few that take place. I don't know if that's here or somewhere else but I remember you've been to several and well, I'm a little envious because the atmosphere looks great.

Really, the people who put effort into cosplay, the work behind it is important. Someday I will go to one of these events, just to see and maybe buy one or another cool thing that is out there.

Cheers my friend!

Yes, I've been to several during the year right here in Maracay, and well, I'm sure that in Caracas the movement is much bigger, maybe if you search in the RRSS you will find information about it.

If the opportunity arises for you to go to an event please be sure to share it here. Greetings!

Here in our house, I still get "what are you, a kid, watching cartoon?" And its not even a cartoons, huhu. I just shut up coz it's tiring to explain, lol. Anyhow, I wish I could also attend this kind of events soon 🤩🤩🤩

AAHJAJA another great festival Akiba, the amount of people is what left me most amazed, Jujutsu Kaizen I have noticed how famous it has become among many, I hope to soon start watching it and that drawing was very well with that theme 😃

It is the enjoyment of anime in the splendor of its culture towards our culture 🙂

For this edition they changed the place and it seems to have been a great success; I don't know why I had the feeling that it would be in the next month and not so soon, but I have been busy and I hardly check the networks.

I really liked the video and where you can see a very committed community to enjoy what they like the most, hopefully this will continue to invite many more people to join those who love anime.

The performance of Callmedidos was a high point of the whole event; very animated playing the opening theme of Pokémon.

Yes, I think it's the first time that so many people have attended one of these events in this city, that means that the movement is growing and that's great. And well, it's true that callmedidos did a great job animating the event, they played the most representative anime songs.

I hope at some point you have the time to attend one of these events. Be well!

I was very surprised, I didn't know that in Venezuela there were this kind of massive festivals. I never dared to go to this kind of events, I'm shy. But by the looks of it, it is very entertaining.
I loved the part where they played the opening of Pokémon with electric guitar. Very cool.
Loved your post, my friend.
Cheers!

Wooow This super cool event, I had no idea that there were events like this in Venezuela, I would love to get similar events in my city, everything looks very fun and interesting, among all without doubt the best cosplay was the dog hahaha, the dog looks super happy showing off his cosplay. I like that there are both cosplay something simple and other super elaborate, in the end only important to have fun and share with all anime fans ::D

The dog cosplay was great, he looked happy and comfortable haha. And yes, as you say, beyond how elaborate or not the cosplay was, the important thing is to have fun and have a good time.

Thanks for your support!
