From Silvestre to Rufina😺//De Silvestre a Rufina😺

A few weeks ago I wrote about the cat 😺 Silvestres, now a little confused I tell you that I will change the name because I know it is a female. At first I thought it was a male, so it was a few months ago. As there is no contact between this feline and me, only feeding him and giving him fresh water.
What made me realize it is that about 15 days ago, I opened the door and there were several cats in the yard, sometimes I saw them eating their food that I left. Then each time I would run them away, but then they would come back, but not every day.

Unas semanas atrás escribí sobre el gato 😺 Silvestres, ahora un poco confusa les digo que cambiaré el nombre porque sé que es hembra. En primer momento creía que era un macho, así trascurre algunos meses. Como no hay contacto entre este felino y mi persona, solamente alimentarlo y darle agua fresca.
Lo que hizo que me diera cuenta es que hace unos 15 días, abrí la puerta y había varios gatos en el patio, a veces veia que comían su comida que dejaba. Entonces cada vez los corría, pero después volvían, pero no todos los días.

One day, I observe from the window that a yellow cat is approaching and starts to be very close, then from that moment I understand that Silvestre is a cat in heat, and that there were several suitors, a white one and a striped one prowling around her.
I looked for my cell phone and stealthily opened the door to take a picture and I captured this photo, where the cat is hiding between the sword of St. George and the cat did not take his attention off her. Several hours passed and she disappeared, that afternoon I did not give her food because she did not appear.

Un día, observo desde la ventana que un gato amarillo se acerca y empieza desde allí estar muy cerca, entonces desde ese momento entiendo que Silvestre es una gata en celo, y que había varios pretendientes, uno blanco y un rayado merodeándola.
Busqué el celular y sigilosamente abro la puerta para fotografiar y capté esta foto, donde la gata está escondida entre la espada de san Jorge y el gato no quitaba su atención en ella. Pasaron varias horas y ella desapareció, esa tarde no le di comida porque no aparecía.

The next day I start to wash at about 4:00 in the afternoon and I see that suddenly she arrives in a hurry and behind her the yellow cat. When I see this scene I go to her on the stairs and run to the cat. And I try to protect her, I give her food and water, poor thing, she looked so scruffy. And then she felt protected and went to sleep.

Al día siguiente me pongo a lavar como a las 4:00 de la tarde veo que de pronto llega ella apresurada y detrás de ella el gato amarillo. Al ver este panorama voy donde está ella en la escalera y corro al gato. Y busco protegerla, le doy comida y agua, pobrecita se veia desaliñada. Y después se sintió protegida y se echó a dormir.

Subsequently, I have wondered what if she gets pregnant, she will soon have kittens. From there I have been observing her behavior, now the cat, I will call her Rufina.

Posteriormente, me he preguntado de qué si quedaría preñada, pronto tendrá unos gatitos. Desde ahí he estado observando su comportamiento, ahora la gata, la llamaré Rufina.

My sister has a cat since two months old 🐱 that for several weeks they had it as a female cat and called her Frida, then they realized it was a male, now it's Frido.

Mi hermana tiene un gato desde dos meses de edad 🐱 que por varias semanas lo tenían como gata y la llamaban Frida, después se dieron cuenta de que era un macho, ahora es Frido.

Here is Rufina sleeping, while I do the laundry, she always accompanies me.
