ISKCON Temple: A place of bliss and devotion
Hello friends, This weekend I got a chance to visit Pandharpur, a devotional city located in the Solapur district of Maharashtra. Friends, this city is very famous for devotion in Maharashtra. The ancient temple of Shri Vitthal Bhagwan is famous here. I went there with my family; after having darshan of Shri Vitthal Bhagwan in the temple, we left for home from there.
Seeing the board of ISKCON Temple on the side of the road at a little distance from the temple, we turned the car towards it, and we went inside from the gate. There was a beautiful temple there. The International Society for Krishna Consciousness, ISKCON, is famous in the world as an organization spreading the teachings of Shri Krishna. It was started by Prabhupad Bhaktivedanta Swamiji. The objective of this organization is to promote spiritual consciousness power through chanting of the "Hare Rama, Hare Krishna" mantra, distribution of spiritual literature, and Bhakti Yoga. The campus there was very beautiful; there was a different atmosphere of peace inside.
All the followers there were talking very politely to all the people coming there. They were telling about this place, about the temple. Anyone can go there, participate in the worship, and enjoy devotion. All the devotees coming there are given food as prasad absolutely free of cost. This food is very simple, but it tastes very delicious there. Maybe it is because of the atmosphere, peace, and devotion there. There is also a cowshed there; many cows are reared in this ashram. Whose milk, curd, ghee, etc. are used in this kitchen. We had food as prasad. We roamed around the whole premises of the temple. This temple, situated on the banks of the river, is really very beautiful.
You can see in the pictures. There is a temple of Vitthal Bhagwan on the other side of the river; there is only a river in the middle. The name of this river is "Chandrabhaga." There is a complete arrangement of accommodation and food here, that too absolutely free or at a very nominal charge. We took a lot of pictures here. It is forbidden to take pictures inside the temple, so we took pictures of the whole complex. You can see how beautiful it is. It is really a very beautiful place; you get to enjoy visiting here, and along with that, you get a feeling of love, joy and belongingness. That is why this is a different place, and if you get a chance, you must go there. Thank you, friends.

Awesome well done on finding Swami ji Prabhpada's Iskcon temple. He is my Guru.
I am happy to hear that Swamiji is your Guru. I also like Swamiji's translation of Gita very much. He has done a great job of awakening the consciousness of people by preaching devotion to Krishna. I am very happy. You can contact me regarding Gita. Thank you very much.🙏
