Merhaba arkadaşlar. Bugün İstanbul'un ve Avrupanin en eski ve tarihî yerlerinden biri olan Unesco Dünya mirası Ayasofya müzesindeyiz.

Unesco Dünya mirası listesinde yer alan Ayasofya Müzesi; kubbesi nedeniyle mimari olarak bir dönüm noktası kabul ediliyor. 532 yılında inşaa edilen Ayasofya döneminin en önemli mimari eserlerinden biridir. Bizans döneminde klise olarak kullanılan yapı; Osmanlı imparatorluğu döneminde Camiye dönüştürülmüştür.

Hem Hıristiyanlık hemde Müslümanlar için kutsal bir mekan olmuştur. Ayasofya uzun yıllar boyunca eşsiz mimarisi ile dünyanın en güzel eserlerinden bir kabul edilmiştir.. Yüzyıllar buyunca bina ayakta kalmıştır. Bir çok restorasyon çalışması yapılmıştır.
