What do you think about levels of spiritual development?
Hi, folks!
Months of thinking, traveling and reading useful books (or useless) and I return to my blog again. I changed his concept several times, but in the end I return to the point where I started.
One way or another, we all wonder how our world works? Why are we here? Was there anything before and will there be anything after? We ask ourselves questions and look for answers. And there is often no single answer. But by studying different theories and accepting or rejecting them, we build our own picture of the world. That's creativity too, isn't it? And since creativity in itself rarely harms anyone, I will allow myself to plunge into the study of various theories about the structure of the world, whatever they may be. After all, I'm not insisting on their truth, I'm just suggesting 😉
Today I propose to address once again the theme of the levels of spiritual development. We talked about it a year ago. But this year I have new ideas and views. I've looked at a lot, but I've learned a lot. In any case, I want to reiterate that everything I write here is not a ready-made recipe, but just a topic for discussion.
The very idea of the levels of spiritual development is not new. Sooner or later each person begins to wonder about his place in this world and the purpose of his incarnation in it. There are many theories, the authors of which try to give more or less grounded answers to these questions.
One of such theores based on the basic approach, according to which a person has the Higher Self and the Lower Self, and in the course of his spiritual growth he passes 7 levels of spiritual development: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue and Violet. It should be explained that the names of the Levels of Spiritual Development by colors is conditional and has no correspondence, for example, with chakras. The Higher Self, the Spirit, evolves from incarnation to incarnation, successively passing from level to level. The Lower Self is different every time.
Here I will make a small digression. To understand what the Higher Self and Lower Self are, we need to recall another theory about the structure of a person - the theory of seven bodies.
From the point of view of some near-esoteric teachings, we (that is, a human being) are a sort of set of bodies: Physical, Etheric, Astral, Mental, Causal, Buddhic and Atmanic. However, there may be discrepancies. For example, instead of Atmanic one speaks of the Cosmic body, the Causal body is called the Karmic. Now it doesn't matter. What we need to understand now is that the Lower Self includes the Physical, Etheric and Astral bodies. And the Higher Self includes Mental, Causal, Buddhic and Atmanic. But I'll say it again, don't worry about it now, because you will come across many other names and theories. It's just that when I talk about it, I'll call it that.
What are the levels of spiritual development?
Red Level of Spiritual Development when we must learn to survive.
Orange Level of Spiritual Development we research the world around us.
The task of the Yellow Level of Spiritual Development is to learn how to manage people and resources. It is the "yellows" who rule the world.
At the Green Level of Spiritual Development we part with our Ego and we turn to our soul. We learn to humble ourselves, understanding and accepting our destiny.
Cyan Level of Spiritual Development brings the person back to his his will, but this time not for satisfaction of his own interests, but for changing the world.
We will not meet persons with a Blue Level of Spiritual Development in the ordinary society. They do not need to incarnate in our world. They can only come to it for the management of the energies of the world.
Violet Level of Spiritual Development is the level of personality who has come to make a global shift in the consciousness of people of all other levels.
As you can see, we have many, many tasks to solve. Unless, of course, we believe in all this and "fit" into this crazy project. But this, as they say, is a purely personal matter.
And so the human being passes one by one the levels of spiritual development. All in one life? - you ask. The answer to this question is not simple, because it happens in different ways. Let's see.
Each of us must go through all these levels. Sometimes the passage of one level takes several reincarnations. Sometimes the successful transition from level to level is hampered by so-called "tails" from the previous level.
Here lives a certain John. And during his life he went through a certain stage of his spiritual development. And reached, for example, the yellow level. And died.
The next time he is born, his Lower Self will again be at the initial level, but his Higher Self will remember the previous experience and will be at the yellow level. And our John should quickly reach the yellow level of his Lower Self and move on. Something like that.
In general, here is such a theory. And I invite you to consider level by level. In the end, many of the ideas that are expressed by the adherents of this theory, many of the practices that they offer, are of an applied psychological nature. In the end, someone meditates, someone does yoga, someone is concerned about their level of spiritual development. Look at things lighter, it will be fun 😉
