Taking care of ourselves sometimes being forgotten; Because of being busy from work or maybe because of the thought that we are okay. There’s also that time that we never cared for our health as long as we are happy. We often heard or even said, “It’s okay to die as long as we are happy or full.” Yes, because of our greediness we forget our health. The thought of will be alright and being cured from medicines.

Achieving dreams, the kind of life we desire and the things we want to do are what makes a life beautiful. This is what it means to live life in this world. Making ourselves happy is one thing that we continue living. However, there are times we’re doing too much that we’re harming our body. We neglected the fact that our body is aching already. We still continue thinking that happiness or what’s happening now is more important than everything.

We refused to accept that doing things that make us happy does not mean everything. It means something but not the core of our each and every life. To live healthy and to live longer until getting old is what matters the most in life. Life is beautiful and we all understand that but there were times we understood it differently. So a little reminder to ourselves in case what we are battling for. What’s the purpose of fighting when there is no single life left.

When we’re experiencing too much heat like what the Philippines is experiencing these days. Never forget to drink water or be hydrated. Water is very important to our body, we get weaker when the water in our body gets lesser. Make sure to fill that 15.5 cups of water or 3.7 liters of water. In this time of hotness, make sure not to drain our body from water or things will get bad.

Drinking water is not just all about to make sure one body will be healthy. It’s important to pick the food we are going to eat as well. It’s not that we’re being hard to ourselves by not eating the food we really love to eat. We can still eat it but only for sometimes and in a slower amount. We can devour it some other time, there’s no rush. What’s important is that we can eat it again and again because we discipline ourselves in eating food. In summary, we call it diet.

Let’s not forget to do exercise as well. To have an energetic body and mind, we should recharge ourselves by outdoor activities. Sweating out makes our body healthier. Even though water comes out, it’s a good way because it makes our body move. Especially for those people working in offices where outdoor activities are hard to do. That’s why, walking or jogging once in a while is beneficial to have a healthy body and mind.

Let’s take care of our bodies since there’s no going back to make this right.
