Missing Someone
Time won't go back for sure but yesterday happened carved into our mind. No matter how many times we remember the past, it only gives us loneliness, forcing things to happen again. The old days will never have become new because every other day is different. So frustration and pain can't be helped after what we all can do is missing them.
Hoping to return from the past is what we all feel. Bad happenings or good ones are still part of the good old days. I admit that I even have regrets for not doing them and why I did them. There is no rewind or there is no role-playing to make it happen again. That's why some of us wish to live from the past and correct the wrongs that we did even though it's a dull desire.
For people who keep living in the past, they are like prisoners. We live today and in the future but not for yesterday. Yes, we desperately want it but nothing's gonna change. It will only give us misery and hopelessness. Even so, why is it hard not to even though we already knew? Simple, we are missing the old days that we want to experience today. The people that we no longer see that we wish to see. The loved ones that had left us remained in our minds and hearts. That's why forgetting them and wishing them to be back with us is inevitable.
We can not help ourselves not to miss someone sometimes. The lonely feeling that sometimes tormented us, pushes us to feel desperate. A wise mind can not escape when emotions play. Not long when laughter was found but all of a sudden for unexplainable reason it zipped. Sadness engulfs a person even though he/she was not expecting it. Just like life, no one expects it to go that way.
One thing is for sure, time passes and we grow older too. The people who were dear to us will remain memories in time. It's okay to feel sad because it just means we cherish them. We treasure the memories but it doesn't mean we wish for impossible things to happen. It's normal to feel that way because the people from the past helped us to be who we are today.
