First time Shots of Nikon D3100
I was excited when I got my own DSLR camera, the Nikon d3100. I was always envious of those people taking pictures using a dslr camera. That’s why, without delay I went to a place where I love the most, at the sea. Luckily, there were subjects being spotted at that time. 4 teenagers happily paddling a boat but quite far. Even so, unlike a mobile phone I managed to capture them while moving.
At first, it was quite hard using it. There were times it got blurry because of the distance. Also, I’m still not used to it, so obviously I didn’t know much about what I would do. It was my own decision and understanding about taking my time pressing the shots button. I took my time focusing on my subjects while they were still moving.
I half-pressed the click button and I learned that it gave a clearer view. Unlike when I first saw it using its live view icon or in the display. It was quite hard doing so since my subjects were moving and quite far. I’m still practicing how to use it so I feel uneasy using it. I thought I didn’t do it right but still I’m positive there are still rooms to grow using a dslr camera. I understand my skills and knowledge are still far from good. Even so, I love it and that will make me keep taking pictures with it.
I wasn't disappointed with the shots that I took. Also, I just edited it to enhance the color of the images. I transferred the files through my phone to do it but I noticed some photos were okay. I just then realized that the display of the images in the camera were different from mobile phones or in laptop and desktop.
So far, I’m happy with the images I took. Here’s one portrait of my wife because before anything else. She will always be my first subject in practicing and enhancing my skills in taking picture.
