Fear not the Ruins, Enjoy Diving at German Ruins Diving Cliff | Bantayan Island Exploration
The sea water of Bantayan Island is like no other. I may be biased but simply because for the first time in my life I traveled to an island like this. Super bright sea water like there’s something below lighting up. So yeah, I could say Bantayan Island is worth a visit if you’re a beach lover because of its sea and seashore.
Don’t get me wrong here, this time I just couldn’t refuse the beauty of the sea and the cliff above. I saw a lot of people jumping and diving, not just children but also adults who are fanatics in those things while at sea. The crystal clear sea water made the sand under so visible that even stones are so vivid as well. Obviously, someone could tell there’s no danger waiting while jumping or diving with these cliffs.
Actually, what attracts the tourists here in my own opinion are not just only those crystal clear sea water and high cliffs overlooking the sea. “GERMAN RUIN” is the name highlighted in this spot. It’s an abandoned house by a German national, of course, it’s already destroyed or ruined. People got attracted to it maybe because the house was located on a cliff. The architecture was simple but since it was destroyed,
Yes, it’s the opened window while facing the cliff and the sea.
Or maybe because it’s old that makes it interesting from the person's perspective. Whether someone’s into heritages or old structure, don’t worry; I’m sure it will be likable from the fact where it is located. I mean, you could imagine yourself in a movie with those windows and doors but already destroyed. That's the point there, it's like that and makes it more scenematic. Let me see if I can edited it. Lol
I must admit, it is nice to kill time here even if diving or jumping is not being desired. Just stay there, watching the long and wide horizon while feeling the wind. It's already enough. Come on, who wouldn't love killing time by just sightseeing at the very beautiful sea water? It’s very relaxing and lovely. I think the images will help to describe what I am talking about.
Don’t worry, even a newcomer will not be lost when entering the Island. It’s popular with the locals, of course, even more tricycle drivers. Also, it’s not far and it’s not hard to find since it’s just along the road.
Oh, I almost forgot this small cottage that offers snacks whenever you’ll be hungry and thirsty.
