Early Stores
Walking has been a fun activity for me since I've been doing it. It does not just offer me relaxation and solitude but getting knowledge of our place. Every place seems normal or nothing is interesting to find more. However, when you get to explore even a usual place. You will understand that there is something new and you will realize you haven't known about these things.
I thought our store was the only one that opens early in the morning because a lot of people are buying here. What I didn't know is that there are stores that open early like ours did. Well, as time went by, our store became the biggest one in our small village. It's not that big though but compared to these stores which will be shown later that ours is the biggest of them all. It's not the capital and the establishment that makes it bigger. It's the strategies we've done to make it bigger.
Most stores are built extended with the houses. Unlike the stores you've seen in the cities or bigger towns, establishments are purposely built for that. Stores here are different because they are usually built in houses. I think it's not that bad if you want to check your store from time to time or maybe to save money in building one.
Like this one, at the back of this store is a house. Though, the store is a bit smaller because it just followed the angle of the house. Nothing to be surprised since most stores in the small village were built just for daily basic needs. You can't really call it a big business but rather a small one to provide immediate response for locals.
If you notice, most stores have screens in front of them. It was made from a small piece of metal to protect from intruders or thieves. If you do not know, most stores don't have someone to watch it always or to be there all the time.
This one is kind of small and it looks like a room in this house. But when I arrived here and started living, I saw that they were intentionally built to be a store. Though it's not that big you can not expect many goods you can buy here. Even so, for basic needs like seasonings, preservative foods, cigarettes and foods for children like biscuits and junk foods, you can buy them here.
There's a single store that is not built along the house. It is separated but the house is a few steps away from it. There's nothing different by building it along the house, you can close it anytime without being disturbed. That's the good thing about a store being separated from the house but if you want to earn money from your store you should always be there to provide customers.
Still, I must say that this one has the best architecture of them all. But I think more money was spent on building it. What's even worse is the quantity of goods it's being sold here. From what I noticed, this store sells less compared to before. That's the disadvantage of having a small store, the sales of goods can be used in other things and even the capital can be used as well.
So here's my store or should I say our store with my wife. It was built and started because of my earnings in Hive. It was not that much before because the capital was around 35, 000 pesos or roughly 700 US dollars. It was not a big amount but by being active and continuing on thinking of growing it we made it possible to be bigger and I am still thinking of alternatives.
Here's a thing, since I started this store thanks to hive. I will accept hive payment but I know it's hard for it because some hive owners are far from here. Still, I'm thinking of items or products to sell that hive owners might be interested in buying. I do not have that for now but if someone from hive that might be lost and want to buy something in my store. I am willing to accept hive or hbd as payment. @chrisrice gave me an idea about it but I've been thinking about it for a long time. I'm just determined now after Chris told me about it.

ABOUT ME
Paul is the name but prefers to be called mrnightmare that feels like living in the dream. A country boy and a dreamboy (dreamer) who likes to stay in a small village even though it means abandoning the future to become a seaman. The passion is writing but not sailing in the vast ocean. Don't wonder if the face will not be shown, this is better where the words can flow smoothly. Come, you can tell me your stories and I'll tell you mine. Together, let's explore the world by broadening our thoughts. If you need a shoulder I can lean you mine and I hope I can lean yours. The world is fun when living is not being alone but with someone.
You can find me here:
Stores build in the house are more economical and safe you money but your sale may not be much because of low customer turn up.
Could be true but depending on the population maybe, thanks by the way.
That is an excellent start @mrnightmare89 is there a place on Hive where his Philippine store can be mentioned and listed as accepting $HIVE and $HBD @demotruk?

Yeah, I want to be included in the list, I mean my store. By the way @chrisrice , is there news about the donation? The class will open soon, maybe next week.
How many Hivers exist in your area?
IMO a realistic HBD adoption project must be done in a place where there is a high density of Hive users.
Sad to say I'm not sure if there is, that's why it's better to think of different products and also it's not a bad idea for future reference. Maybe a QR code is good for easier and fast transactions.
