Slovakia's Slana River turns orange from contamination; How Hygienic are We?

Cleanliness they said is next to godliness. In the era we are where almost every consumable and non consumable things are contaminated in one way or the other both directly or indirectly but how can we tell as sometimes most of the ill health we suffer are base on our careless ness towards our health as to not implementing the necessary laid down principles about our health. Could this be that to an extent we dont value our health that much as so many befalling into our open and prone system has caused some ill treating effect to our body.

Environmental activists in eastern Slovakia are desperately trying to stop polluted water entering the Slana River. For the past three months, water with high levels of iron, zinc and arsenic, has been flowing into the river from a derelict mine. Along a 20 to 30-kilometer stretch of the Slana, before it reaches Hungary, the river has turned bright orange and the wildlife has been completely destroyed.source

The world been blessed with so may natural resources has been in abundance in very many geographical locations but if these natural resources are not rightfully used,the reverse actions which are unfavourable for humans will be experienced. Drawing attention from a common natural resource used in this context which is water if not properly treated and well managed the closeby anti bodies always eager to have the available contaminated thereby rendering it useless. Because of the poisonous nature of the mineral present in the water which already had made the above stated water a Hard water, it has destroyed wildlife and more destructions awaits if not handled.

Owing to the presence of the above mentioned minerals the said nature of water which is colourless is now red in colour as it has started killing aquatic animals thereby rendering and causing the scarcity of edible aquatic animals. How hygienic is our everyday life as if not for the fact that the aforetime mentioned water has turned to red, people would still go to fetch such water without proper treatment drink it and have themselves infected. Carefulness should be paid to our health as it is a principal thing for as much as Health is Wealth.
